This is very disappointing.
Not necessarily, it may be it was a weak case and before they take on something it needs to stand a good chance of winning and meaning something.
Kav caves to Traitor Roberts.
Not part of a good start.
>> Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Brett Kavanaugh appeared to side with the court’s liberals in not taking up the case — showing an effort to avoid high-profile abortion-related issues for now.
FOR NOW.
Yes, my initial reaction was negative, but after a bit of thought, I prefer to remain optimistic. My optimistic take on this is that they are conscious of timing, optics. And perhaps they are also waiting for another Trump appointment to SCOTUS.
Better to avoid (not lose) a battle today and to win the war tomorrow.
I think they are playing the long game. The left has always done that. Maybe conservatives are finally learning how, also.
But does it surprise you?
Cowards
Not surprised at all. Roberts is not going to over turn RvW bet the farm. Unless RBG goes the inanticide will continue.
Kavanaugh’s high-end Catholic education really paying off, eh?
Look
If you decide to kill your baby and ruin your mental health forever
Planned evil is just one place to do it
So taking their government teat away does really nothing
Theyll still get private money anyway or there would be others
The TRUTH about life is key. Getting that out
how much adrenochrome and children were promised?
Why?!?
This was just over the right to sue.
From the dissent:
whether Medicaid recipients have a private right of action to challenge a States determination of qualified Medicaid providers under 42 U. S. C. §1396a(a)(23) and Rev. Stat. §1979, 42 U. S. C. §1983. Five Circuits have held that Medicaid recipients have such a right, and one Circuit has held that they do not.* The last three Circuits to consider the question have them- selves been divided.
They Supremes did not rule in the issue.
They just declined to clarify the right to sue.
This is a nothing burger.

I fully expected it. I was disgusted with the way Kavanaugh was treated after his nomination, but fully convinced he was a liberal Republican.
And who nominated him to begin with?
