I have a friend in Syria who is directly involved with the effort to get help for the victims of ISIS slavery. Most of them go to Germany for treatment and care. This is an area in which one doctor has done significant good work.
The Equipment was left to the Iraq Government (in Baghdad). When ISIS took over, the Kurds held their positions and Baghdad was not very effective. Some in Baghdad sympathized with ISIS. Both were Sunni Muslim.
Obama had pulled the US military completely out of Iraq before ISIS took over.
Amen. She is a brave lady.
And there was another before her who’s response was join the YPJ and trained. And about the time of battle at Tabqah as a sniper she shot and killed the ISIS commander that abused her.
