I thought that too, at first.. but, if you think about just being in "Jail"? Ever? That could be a lot of people. Especially, with the near zero tolerance DWI laws. These expand the universe of people across classes.
He picked a time when some reunion was taking place in one town, and all the rooms were gone.

I have, er, had, a first cousin once removed, that did time, probably for drugs.
The Bullshit and fake news callers are 100% correct. The originators of the report were either drunk or on drugs.
It doesn’t take much to get thrown in jail these days by a cop who got up on the wrong side of bed that morning, or one who doesn’t belong in the uniform. And, I say this as someone with a few cops in the family.
I think “immediate family” is the trick here. Pretty much every family has a black sheep cousin or uncle.

My family would mostly resemble that of Ozzie and Harriet but have had a sister incarcerated at Miramar for eighteen minths for a drug induced beating of a superior officer. Her son is doing five years for drugs and two uncles have done drug related time. Except for their addictions, they would seem to be decent folk.
Act in self defense in the wrong place against a local and it becomes apparent how the justice system works
I got cleared and out but a lot of poor guys without the akills,resources, and connections I have would have been totally screwed
This is a stunning stat that makes me think the actual number of illegals is close to 60 million.
