The Clinton’s are no longer in power. They used up a lot of political favors in the last election. If they had blackmail information on some it may be out of date or unusable now.

Add to the fact that the up and coming Democrats sees them as yesterday’s news.

In other words, yes, this may go somewhere since the left are ready to toss the Clintons under the bus to get them off the political stage.
