The media are complicit in this massive conspiracy of high treason. With any luck, they’ll be brought to justice. Mob justice.

A NYT writer defines themselves as being only bright enough to be a journalist.

Which means they’re not exactly up there with folks who actually have talent.

Nice try, oh little teeny writer.

They’ve been operating under the assumptions of the Watergate reality, where all the have to do is run the right story in the Washington Post and Trump would slink off in disgrace. Now they’re finding out that it’s not like that, Trump will fight and his base does not read the Washington Post except for the humor.

We have reached the point where the New York Times and their liberal friends are unwilling to re-consider their beliefs in the light of new information. The author is just projecting her world view, beliefs, and feelings as if they were the truth, and is incapable of considering any evidence which doesn't support her view.

Of course this shouldn't surprise anyone, we have people who believe the earth is flat too, along with many other irrational ideas.

A) zero evidence that the Russians hacked into DNC servers
B) No evidence that Wikileaks was working with Russia
C) no evidence that Trump worked the Russians
D) Mueller has a long history of incompetence and massive corruption
these are the facts.

She is a lawyer? Completely oblivious to the weaknesses in her own arguments. "Stone and Corsi may have been.... therefore Trump colluded". May have=guilt in her mind.

Cohen's plea agreement makes clear that the deal they (Cohen and others, not Trump personally) tried to arrange was a licensing of Trump name to put on a tower built by Russian engineers and a financed by a Russian bank. Trump's claim he had no business deal is 100% truthful. He did not invest and he received no money. They were trading on Trump's name, trying to license his name not asking him to develop or finance the deal.

Russian's hacked the DNC, I don't believe it. But she omits reports that there were also attempts to hack the RNC servers, but those hacks failed. There is a legitimate argument that if Russia tried to hack the DNC they would also hack the RNC. It's silly to think they would blindly support any candidate without trying to dig into the data of the other. Even if they did back Trump, which defies all logic (Putin would support the candidate who was predictable, eg. Clinton, whom he had given oodles of money and had deceived many times by exploiting her avarice and lack of attention to the national interests). One of the left's major argumentative weaknesses on this investigation, aside from the lack of any evidence and pretext, is their obliviousness to what was actually happening beyond their narrow field of vision. They are too busy playing the victim to even acknowledge that what happened is the result of their own foibles and errors, greed, internal strife et al, and not some plot involving Trump and Putin. The evidence points to collusion between Clinton and many others, not to Trump but on that I am preaching to the choir here.

I saw a speech by VP Pence recently where he made a case that China is the bigger problem for USA. So much irony in how the left now make Russia the bogieman, and embrace the FBI and CIA. Could you imagine the left hailing the CIA and FBI as heroes even a decade ago? We could get a lot more done with Russia, who have a lot more in common with and important to Europe, and it is a geopolitical mistake to push them into the arms of China. But this is what the left is doing.

Liberals specialize in conspiracy theories and in alternative facts.

They accuse their opponents of doing what they themselves do. Projection.

But Mr. Corsi’s and Mr. Papadopoulos’s antics are a warning that ...

Wow. Antics? Papadop was accused of lying to the FBI which resulted in a Russian superspy, Mifsud, slip from their grasp.

Wait, no. Papadop was given two weeks for pointing out something everyone knew, that Mifsud (along with Helper and maybe others) was a fat, stupid nobody used by the deep state to try to entrap the Trump campaign into "collusion".

Of course, it now appears that Mifsud had equal, if not greater, connections to Western intelligence organizations, but the FBI should have known of all these facts by the time it interviewed Mifsud in February 2017. After all, the FBI justified launching a criminal investigation into the Republican presidential candidate’s campaign in July 2016 because of the supposed troubling revelation that a Russia agent had told Papadopoulos the Russians had dirt on Hillary.
http://thefederalist.com/2018/08/20/papers-saying-papadopoulos-lied-fbi-fbi-shows-either-also-lying-incompetent/

Papadop knew that Mifsud was a stupid fat nobody. Everybody knew that. Even the Washington Post knew that: Mifsud did not respond to a request for comment Monday. In an email to The Post in August [2017], he wrote that he had "absolutely no contact with the Russian government" and said his only ties to Russia were through academic links. But Mueller has to indict his ham sandwich using whoever he can, and Mifsud is it.

Guaranteed that Mifsud is underneath the blacked out lines in the redacted documents e.g. the Schitt memo. Others incude "Halper" and "FBI Informant" embedded in the Trump campaign (could be one of those two or someone else). Everyone that is being protected as a classified source is connected with US, Aussie or British intelligence. That's what they don't want revealed. And this dimwit writing for the NYT either knows nothing about any of that, or knows and is lying and part of the obfuscation campaign.

Totally detached from reality and logic:

"By now it’s clear that the special counsel is not armed with a silver bullet, not because the facts are not bad for the president but precisely because they are. If facts were enough, Mr. Trump would already have been impeached. "

"If facts were enough, Mr. Trump would already have been impeached."

For all the MSM talking about Mueller having Trump cold, no one can spell out what he has that is so damning.

This all looks like the NYT is getting ready for Mueller to come up empty handed.

Another one writing to preen themselves in front to their peers. That’s all that is... parading and preening... like so many before them and so many after.

It’s not about the story it’s about the writing of the story, the story behind the story. It’s about posturing, about showing one’s bona fides, one’s creds, one’s willingness to do or say whatever for the cause.

And the reward? Because we’re not liberals we don’t know how touched they are, how ebullient and ecstatic they are among their friends, their coffee culture peers, that they are living a life only seen on TV. Yes, they are living a life TV shows are written about.
