Newsom won Orange County by 2000 votes. Have no idea where you got the idea the republican won, much less by 200,000 votes:

Gavin Newsom - 540,690
John H. Cox - 538,243

I mean, with it that close, it is almost unimaginable that not a single district had more republican than democrats vote for congress.

Ho-hum Dems in California will “harvest” however many votes they need to win elections. You can pretty much write the GOP off here. They did it to themselves though, the cheap labor express.

“ballot harvesting”

Here’s why GOP was surprised.
Because they are the Party of Dumb?

If we can just find out where all these GARDENS from which the DEMS are harvesting are, we can spray them with roundup ?LOL..

Yesterday was another article on ballot harvesting being the culprit, but I think it’s a contributing trick along with other sneaky Democrat stunts such as same day registration/voting.

Thanks for the correction. I must have heard some early results, before all the votes were counted.

Democrats should do better in runoff elections. Don’t they specialize in late. voting?

Fraudulently documented foreigners are now deciding who represents American citizens in the Mexican colony of California.

was that the USSC? if so, can’t someone sue to get the ballot harvesting law outlawed, and take it to the USSC?

“ps: keep also in mind, that in many Califorication elections nowadays, the voters don’t even get the choice of voting for a R candidate... the race is between two leftist D’s”

Having non-partisan primaries was decided by a referendum. In 2010 California voters decided that they wanted top two elections. Proposition 14 passed 54-46.
The proposition was publicly backed by then Republican Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, as part of a deal in which Democratic state Senator Abel Maldonado agreed to support the governor’s proposed 2009–2010 state budget, the proposition was opposed by both major political parties.

“harvesting” puts every legitimate ballot at risk of being invalidated by ILLEGALLY harvested votes.

1. It is not difficult at all to find registered voters that hardley ever vote.

2. And when late drop off ballots are checked, how much can signature checking be relied on, or is the only primary check the mere fact that the voter the ballot is stated to be for is a registered voter in the district to which the ballot is returned.

It is time for voter ids, mail-in ballots sent only to voters requesting them, no mail in ballot valid if post marked after polls have opened on election day, no same-day registration and no provisional ballots for any reason.

If you are a responsible citizen you will get yourself registered before election day, at your city hall, not the DMV, and if you MUST have a mail in ballot you will ask for one and return it before election day.

I have been screaming about this type of fraud for years. Here in California the voter registration form has two address fields. One address field is for where the voter lives. The other address field is for where the ballot is to be mailed to. California DMV offices are staffed with SEIU members. Guess who controls the motor voter ballots?

Few people noticed when Gov. Jerry Brown signed the changes in AB1921 into law two years ago.

Voter fraud is now enshrined in law in California.

As a side note, Portland, Oregon is the most atheist city in the US, followed by Seattle and SF tied for second place.

Portland is runner up for 'poop capital' of the world. But not to be outdone... San Fran is first. Seattle is riddled with pot smokers in public stinking up the place. Remove the Lord and living in a gutter, spiritually speaking, fills the void.

Not hard to find. Go to the ‘Rat HQs where they are manufactured.

Spraying them, though, might be a messy business.

It's a multi-front assault - that way if they get called on any one piece they can claim it is "no big deal" and "Republicans are engaging in voter suppression."

And they have a point, in a way. Today's electorate is so dumbed down that if 100% of them turned out, the Santa Claus Democrats would probably win every race 75-25. Republicans need the uninformed to stay home to have any real chance.
