California’s late votes broke big for Democrats. Here’s why GOP was surprised (Ballot Harvesting)

--snip-- Some Republicans have cast a skeptical eye on Democrats’ use of “ballot harvesting” to boost their support. The idea’s backers say it’s just one of several steps California has taken to enable more people to vote.

Few people noticed when Gov. Jerry Brown signed the changes in AB1921 into law two years ago. In the past, California allowed only relatives or people living in the same household to drop off mail ballots for another voter. The new law allowed anyone, even a paid political campaign worker, to collect and return ballots — “harvesting” them, in political slang.

The democrats know how to cheat and get away with it. They have been practicing for many years.

I live in California, am politically hyper aware, yet this is the first I’ve heard of this practice. Let’s see: jungle primary results in no GOP candidate in many races. Vote harvester bring in a bumper crop of rat votes. I suppose we should be grateful that the remaining GOP voters aren’t shanghaied on the way to the polls, waking up on tramp steamers bound for Burma. That’s probably next

Don't mean to sound paranoid, but doesn't this whole CA election mess stink of theft?

"Harvesting" == Driving around to all those illegal alien communities and collecting so-called welfare applications that miraculously turn out to be mail-in ballots...

Read the whole article to understand what is going on. My prediction is that Dems in other states will try to copy California and pass laws allowing ballot harvesting. Republicans need to kill these laws.

We would not have ballot (and Democrat vote) harvesting if many states had not allowed mail in ballots.

Really voting should be done at the polls on election day or not at all. We need to go back to that systsem but Republicans have screwed themseleves

Elections will become obsolete. The commissars will just keep a running tab on how many registered Democrats are in a district and declare a new representatives every two years.

Heard a gal caller to Rush recently, living in People’s Republic of Kaleefornya. She said she’s really a GOP, but is so fed up, she changed from Rep to Independent a few months ago. She went online to apply for absentee ballot before mid terms. I think she mentioned she lived in Orange County, too.

She two days later, received TWO absentee ballots PLUS a kind letter from Taylor Swift, encouraging to vote - ahem you know which way.

One Day after that she received FOUR additional ballots in her mail.

Soooooooooooo THIS IS WHY California, trotting out thousands of garbage ballots AFTER the election, negated all the real votes, especially in Orange County.

My 2 cents.
Voter ID for every election.
Must go to town hall to GET absentee ballott in person and sign for it.
Ballots are only available from Town / village you live in given by Town employees.

NO ONE can register you to vote, except AT your Town / Village hall.
NO motor voter, garbage.

How did this get so out of control.

Residents should file a civil rights violation lawsuit.

This has to be FOUGHT IN THE COURTS, not through Congress or even at the state level.

Congress, of course, will be a joke, and the only states that might help are the ones that are already red, which is not enough.

The basis for a court fight is that our CONSTITUTIONAL Right to Vote is being neutralized by the fraud taking place.

Either we FIGHT NOW, or they take over.
