Ten years after Mumbai terror attacks, US offers $5M reward for info leading to attackers

India's financial capital with a population of over 18 million, Mumbai turned into a war zone on Nov. 26, 2008, as a group of Pakistani gunmen who launched coordinated attacks on the city. They targeted two luxury hotels, a Jewish center, a tourist restaurant and a crowded train station. Three days of carnage killed 166 people, including foreign tourists, and wounded hundreds more.

India blamed the attack on the Pakistani militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba, throwing relations between the nuclear-armed neighbors into a tailspin. Indian officials accused Pakistan's intelligence agency of working with the militant group to mastermind the attack — an allegation Islamabad denied.

Pakistan has been a so called ‘ally’ for decades. As a majority Mozlem country any non Islamic country is considered an enemy in Islam's never ending war to dominate mankind. The alliance therefore was bogus from the beginning and I'm glad to see America dropping this fictional friend.

It has been alleged that Headley made periodic trips to Pakistan for LeT training while simultaneously working as an informant for the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), but this is disputed.[3][4] Under the direction of Lashkar chiefs, Headley performed five spying missions in Mumbai to scout targets for the attacks, which killed 168 people. The following year, he performed a similar mission in Copenhagen to help plan an attack against the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten, which had published cartoons of Muhammad. He was arrested at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago while on his way to Pakistan in October 2009.[3][5]

They’ve all been identified. There are recording of the terrorists getting instructions from a Pakistani Army Major, an American of Pakistani origin is in jail in the US. All have been identified and verified. Pakistan says that off the data is doctored and can’t be trusted.
