Chief Justice John Roberts rebutted President Donald Trump's recent criticism that the recent ruling against the administration's asylum policy on migrants was issued by an "Obama judge".
“We do not have Obama judges or Trump judges, Bush judges or Clinton judges," Roberts, who originally responded to the Associated Press, said via a statement issued from the Supreme Court's press office. "What we have is an extraordinary group of dedicated judges doing their level best to do equal right to those appearing before them. That independent judiciary is something we should all be thankful for.”
The president responded directly to the comments in a pair of tweets Wednesday afternoon. "Sorry Chief Justice John Roberts, but you do indeed have 'Obama judges,' and they have a much different point of view than the people who are charged with the safety of our country," Trump said.

I think Roberts is signaling that he intends to uphold the Obama judge ruling. I think that whatever Obama had on Roberts to turn him, Trump needs to use to get him to resign. He is compromised and should not be on the S/C.

It's hard to make a coherent case against ObamaCare when we don't even get our facts straight.
1. Like it or not, ObamaCare is, indeed, a tax. What else would it be if it is administered through the IRS?
2. ObamaCare did not originate in the Senate. It was introduced in the House as H.R. 3590 -- the "Service Members Home Ownership Tax Act" -- on September 17, 2009.
There are plenty of legal avenues to overturn ObamaCare. Focusing on such idiocy as the legal definition of a "tax" and a false notion of which house of Congress introduced the bill will get us nowhere.

Judges do not have any authority to rule on items for which there is no legislated or constitutional law.
Judges do not adjudicate disagreements between the branches of US government. To do so would put them _above_ the other branches. They are an equal branch. Not the final arbiter of inter-branch disputes.
Judges who act outside of their lawful authority need jail time.
Unlike Kavanaugh, someone, or many ones, have things on Roberts that scares him..

My first question was “who sent the message to him to rebuke the President?” and my next thought was “Obama’s been unusually in President’s face this week.”
There’s a connection. Why is a former President jumping in after the midterm election to smear, demean and destabilize his successor’s administration? Unheard of.
