Climate Alarmism: Mark your calendars. In five years, everyone will believe the global warming doomsday scenarios repeated ad nauseam by environmentalists. That's according to California Gov. Jerry Brown. More likely, it be another in a long line of climate change "tipping points" that never arrive.
On CBS's "Face the Nation" over the weekend, Brown went on at length about how global warming was behind the recent deadly California wildfires. Even though he also admitted that Trump was right that bad forest management played a role.
But Brown concluded by saying that such wildfires will only get worse if the world doesn't go to zero carbon emissions "sooner rather than later." So much worse that nobody will doubt climate change anymore.
In March 2009, environmental activist Prince Charles informed us that the world had "less than 100 months" to save itself. Last year he changed his mind and said we had 35 years.
An environmentalist report from 2001 said that "Substantial reductions in global CO2 emissions must occur within the next 10 to 15 years," or stopping catastrophic warming "may be nearly impossible."
If climate change "experts" can't predict what will happen in a decade or two with any degree of accuracy, why does anyone trust them with global warming forecasts that stretch out 100 years or more?

How much CO2 would be OK vs. how much deadwood in the forests accumulating until debacles like California’s last couple years of fires erupt?
I guess we’ll have to wait and see what MoonBeam predicts on that one.
It could be awhile ,, he’s in CYA and deflect blame mode and has been for 50 years.
But but California implemented AGW laws and regs.
Who would have thunk that Jerry would pass the Inept Administration and Forest Mismanagement buck onto something else.
Hard to believe that the whole town of Paradise can get consumed, obliterating hundreds of homes and killing scores of people, and NOT ONE bureaucrat’s foot is held to the fire (no pun intended).
What makes a professional “governor” an expert on global warming?
He is definite that it’s warming. This winter the harsh “cold” will be caused by global “warming”
If these people are right all I say I won’t be here when it gets unbearable.
Jerry Brown’s comrade Jim Jones fancied himself a prophet as well.
My wife is the Director of Ops for a national insurance company and the has been working 14 hrs a day, she’s been up there all last week with the Cat Van and she said the missing count is up to 1100. PG-E really needs an ass whooping if they are the culprits.
Well PG&E provided electricity to an area that maybe it shouldn’t have. Its not their fault houses were built. Its not like PG&E would be able to refuse to provide services.
Maybe the solution should have been not to build houses in Paradise, CA.
It’s really quite remarkable that they are still going on about this.
On Jeopardy Tournament of Champions last night, there was a whole category where the clues were read by Al Gore, and two of them were about “climate change” or “global warming”.
As far as I’m concerned, the theory, which needed some attention in the mid-1990s, is now conclusively falsified and should be retracted.
Instead - it gets more and louder attention.
Amazing.
Maybe Governor Moonbeam should take a look at some actual science, and see that we are shortly going to be freezing our asses off: https://www.sott.net/article/400195-Professor-Valentina-Zharkova-explains-and-confirms-why-a-Super-Grand-Solar-Minimum-is-upon-us
IF there is any global warming (and I highly doubt it, particularly when they have to literally make up numbers to show it), then we’ll be thankful for it.
Here’s my prediction: In a few years, people are going to look at the Prius in their garage or on their driveways, smack themselves in the head, and say, “I should’ve had a V-8!”
When the Oroville dam spillways failed, Brown said "stuff happens and we respond". Being proactive isn't the California way..
Te guy’s going to lose is state to mexico at the rate he’s going.
Good one. Graphic BUMP!
Clown Brown..the king of cali.
A logical person would look at the many thousands of tons of CO2 (perhaps millions) released by the Camp Fire disaster in the last couple weeks, and realize it is far more than what humans have released into the air for years. And then ponder why coastal cities are not under ocean water as Al Gore said they would be a decade ago because of "global warming". CO2 is not the problem. Mismanagement is a problem.
