The point is that the lower courts will ignore Supreme Court precedents when it suits them.

Which will accomplish exactly what, in this case?

The asylum question was litigated to the very top, and the high court sided with the law, the Constitution, and the President.

The lower courts have no jurisdiction in this matter, whatsoever.

Exactly! But do you honestly expect this federal judge in San Francisco to dismiss the case based on the law?
