This has been a major and intentional effort by the Left to find people with military experience to run for office on the Left.
They think (and with some justification) that there are many people who hear that someone served in the military, and they conclude they are reliable and conservative...when they aren’t.
They have been vamping for every single little percent of votes they can get and this is just one part. I encountered it in my travel out of state to Maine, and I was curious about their candidates.
A good example of this move by the Left was Jared Golden, a DEMOCRAT running for the house in Maine’s 2nd Congressional District.

I happened to be in Maine leading up to the election, and I saw some ads on television for him. Nowhere in the ad did it mention he was a Democrat. (And if you go to his web page above, NOWHERE does it say he is a DEMOCRAT. And...you can see he was aligning himself with Susan Collins, a Republican (albeit a squishy one)
It showed him shooting a rifle at a target and talking about guns and stressing his military service in a way that definitely led you to believe he was a 2nd Amendment rights advocate...and...a conservative.
Out of curiousity (I don’t live in Maine) I looked him up, he is against conceal carry, for a gun database, and got a “D” rating from the NRA.
I was flabbergasted. I know Leftists lie and conceal, it is what they do.
But this was so misleading, I even thought “Hey, here is a decent candidate...” and then when I investigated further...well, you learn the truth. Read about his stances when you drill down in his website, and he is far Left. It really bugged, me, but...he missed getting elected by a few thousands of votes, apparently.
I found out that this element of military service was obviously part of a known deliberate and concerted effort by the Left. Disgusting.

But we KNOW the Demonrats will be trashing President Trump relentlessly during the next two years and sending him dozens if not hundreds of subpoena’s......then there is massive voter fraud that we KNOW is going to happen in 2020.
Nothing is guaranteed.
Not unless we can do better than the D +9 turnout that this election had.
It is possible he won’t. America appears to be going hard left in a big hurry. And we are going to have nothing but gridlock and bombast for the next two years. And Republicans are chickens**t, afraid of their own shadows across the nation.
What possibly can he accomplish with a population that is either dysfunctional or too busy to care?

We need to be clear and honest about this...Trump does not, on his own, have the authority or the power to do this. He CAN’T stop it. He needs help in every state and in Congress. Forget Congress, they can do nothing with the House in Rat hands. So it’s all 50 states and thousands of counties...
Doesn’t matter who runs on the Dem ticket ... the machine will be behind Hillary all the way. Rematch 2020.
True but Trump CAN lead the efforts to clean up our elections and at least neutralize the fraud including addesssing the nation about it via prime time address instead of just tweeting!
He can start by getting this lame duck GOP Congress to pass a National Voter ID bill requiring National Voter ID be used in ALL Federal Elections starting in 2020 - requiring proof of US citizenship to be issued a Voter ID! Congress DOES have the authority to set the time, place and manner of Federal elections! That’s how the noncitizen voter fraud enabling Motor Voter Law got foisted on us by Congress!
Noncitizen voter fraud was almost unheard of prior to Motor Voter passing in 1993. Most all states required proof of citizenship prior to then when registering to vote! Now millions if not tens of millions of illegal votes are being cast nationwide by both LEGAL noncitizens and illegal aliens!!

All of your suggestions are right and correct, and none of them is going to happen.
Trump led the election effort (no other Republican did anything) and he got a D +9 turnout...his leadership is limited to just his supporters, not the population at large - the Democrats and media have insured that the country remain divided.
And Paul Ryan’s Congress is going to do nothing, because that’s all Paul Ryan has ever done with his majority of quisling, weakling, sniveling Republicans. None of it is going to happen.

No wonder some Democrat pendants think Hilary Clinton still has a shot at winning the Democrat Party nomination, if this is the quality of her competition.

The “Clown Car” has now become a train .... ya gotta love it. Between the Dem Congress which will accomplish nothing and the Dem “Clown Train”, 2020 should be a great election year.

I could not agree with you more, that there are those that think veterans are more reliable, etc. That’s similar to those that still believe the dems are for the working stiff and the repubs are strictly for the elite rich.
