Florida attorney general directs law enforcement to take steps to ‘guarantee integrity' in elections

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi (R) said Sunday that she is directing the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) to take steps to "guarantee integrity in our elections process" amid Republican accusations of voter fraud in two counties in the state.

Bondi's directive comes after the FDLE said Friday that it hadn't launched an investigation into election officials in Broward and Palm Beach counties because there was no evidence of fraud.

Bondi wrote in a letter to FDLE commissioner Rick Swearingen that she doesn't see how the FDLE "can legitimately refuse" to open an investigation.

“I fail to see how the Florida Department of Law Enforcement can legitimately refuse to investigate where there is reasonable suspicion that may lead to the discovery of criminal conduct of the 2018 election — actions that gravely damage Floridians’ confidence in our electoral process and our democracy," she wrote

I have zero sympathy for the Republican candidates who have lost/are going to lose the seats they won due to democrat fraud. Every election it’s the same thing, massive voter fraud by democrats, and the Republicans never do anything about it. The know it’s going to happen and they do absolutely nothing about it.

Your focus on the Republican candidates being the victims misses the mark. The biggest victims in all of this are of course the American people.

WE SHOULD ALL BE DESPONDENT! But that doesn’t mean to quit. It means we need to face facts first and then find a new game plan.

Democratic National Committee v Republican National Committee
Case No. 09-4615 (C.A. 3, Mar. 8, 2012)

“In 1982, the Republican National Committee (“RNC”) and the Democratic National Committee (“DNC”) entered into a consent decree (the “Decree” or “Consent Decree”), which is national in scope, limiting the RNC’s ability to engage or assist in voter fraud prevention unless the RNC obtains the court’s approval in advance.”

The Republican Party has been banned from investigating vote fraud since 1982. This decision has given the Democrats over 30 years of practice. I’m one of the first people to rail (validly) against the Republican Party, but in this case, their hands have been tied. If they don’t seize this opportunity, since the ban has expired, then you are correct. We’ll see. Scott in Florida is pursuing his case. I can’t speak to the rest of the country.

Yup. The beautiful legs. And feet. Primary qualifications for FL AG. Don’t forget, this is the state where the voters passed an amendment restoring voting rights to felons. It wasn’t even close. My guess is 4 out of 5 Floridians have criminal records.

I noticed voter fraud 2 years ago when I was working the polls.

When I confronted the big wig Repub in my state over the past few years, I get a dear in the headlights glare. Granted I live in the Peoples Republic of Maryland.

These states knowing they have enough corrupt rats county and didn’t do anything to prevent this is beyond stupid!!!!!!!!

“I have zero sympathy for the Republican candidates

What about the rest of us Americans who will pay for it? These are not just local offices, their federal. It’s not just the candidates, it the whole country. “

You read my mind. Thanks! Some people get so emotional at times.

There are plenty of new controls in place but if elected officials openly violate the law it takes someone with balls to take control. The current optical ballot scanning equipment is good but the willingness of Palm Beach & Broward to skirt the rule with zero penalty for violations and personal accountability the early voting & vote by mail is going to continue to be a major problem.

These Broward crooks even broke out the "no controlling legal authority" dodge again. Scott could have dealt with this situation a couple of years ago but because of PC he took the easy way out.

Day late and a dollar short, like the Republicans always are.

They've piled up the illegal and totally false votes. Now the battle is how many of them they can hang onto. The Florida AG should have had people at the polling places in the areas that are known for cheating on election day, not after the damage is done.

Personally, I believe this was a trap from the start.

People who are part of a party which desires to kill (with excruciating pain), the most innocent among us, who seek the elimination of natural heterosexual married family units, to sexually pervert innocent children who were not aborted, and who seek to destroy by all means necessary, our system of liberty, to replace it with slavery to sovereign authoritarian government, and who seek an end of our nation, have proven they have no moral boundaries, and have long been at war to kill America. They even telegraphed the dance they were about to pull off, in an effort to outright end President Trump. If they could, they would violently kill all conservatives, Christian’s, and anyone else who would get in their way of ultimately accomplishing totalitarianism.

These people have no moral boundaries.

As applied to this election, only naive fools would believe they would not have been using these past several days to carefully manufacture votes. The strategy is almost assuredly to get the RNC and Republican powers that be, to trigger a new vote count! Only this time, it will include the now fixed fraudulent ballots!

They are not even worried about being careful, as they have the mass media/press, and they knew the GOP-e would carry out the final phase of the fraud, by demanding a recount!

This is more like violent narscisistic machavelian ballet of legitiimate ballot destruction!

Florida R voters have to be furious. What’s the point of voting if the dems can steal and nothing happens to the crooks. R’s are fed up. Dems are crooks in the open and NOTHING ever happens to them.

They should invalidate the vote in these counties. Re-do the vote or throw them out.

*Now* she wants to innovate and try the totally new concept of “enforcing the rule of law for elections.”

What will they think of next?

I’m with you on that point. But I have maximum sympathy for the rest of us who will suffer due to the GOP who did nothing about legendary and constant Rat fraud.

Trump is smart. He’s a fighter and a winner. He has shown the putrid Republican party, by example and actual results how to do it. They’re not able to emulate him because that’s not who they are.

I’m enjoying the Trump presidency greatly, notwithstanding the media crapping on it daily. But if anyone thinks President Trump alone is going to change the entire trajectory of the country, well, that’s just not going to happen. Demographics is destiny.
