Representative Dana Rohrabacher, a Republican fixture in California who represented Orange County for 15 terms, has lost his bid for re-election. His defeat underlines the partys setbacks in a part of the state that was long a symbol of its political dominance. The Associated Press called the race on Saturday, with Harley Rouda receiving 52 percent of the vote to Mr. Rohrabachers 48 percent. Mr. Rouda, 56, is a former Republican turned Democrat who became a symbol of the Democratic efforts to win back Congress this year. Mr. Rohrabacher, 71, was viewed as particularly vulnerable because he defended Russia in the midst of allegations about its efforts to intervene in elections in the United States.

Count actual US Citizens in the Census, and watch Dems lose 6-8 California Dem seats.
You’re probably right, but we’ll never know because we’re not allowed to know, because it’s racist to even ask for someone’s proof of citizenship. All we can do is play the hand we’re dealt for now, until such time as we have an accountable and first-world election system and common sense voting laws implemented in all states.
"As the cool and deliberate sense of the community ought, in all governments, and actually will, in all free governments, ultimately prevail over the views of its rulers; so there are particular moments in public affairs when the people, stimulated by some irregular passion, or some illicit advantage, or misled by the artful misrepresentations of interested men, may call for measures which they themselves will afterwards be the most ready to lament and condemn. In these critical moments, how salutary will be the interference of some temperate and respectable body of citizens, in order to check the misguided career, and to suspend the blow meditated by the people against themselves, until reason, justice, and truth can regain their authority over the public mind?" - Federalist Papers, No. 63, 1788
Hey theres still some of us here
Of course we have no one to vote for
On another note. I believe in TERM LIMITS
Kudos to Fox News for doing their part in voter suppression for the Democrats in the western US. They were vigorously defending themselves this morning.
The country is in dire need of a truly non-partisan tv news outlet.
when a political election system is set up like the one in Kalifornia, even term limits won’t help
Only 2 GOP congressional reps in OC, both women. Young Kim, who won Ed Royces old seat and my rep, Mimi Walters. Lots of money and outside influence used to defeat Dana. Since the election, his local staff have been taking numerous calls mocking them about being out of jobs.
While not the only reason, Dana foolishly (politically speaking) argued a home seller should be able to refuse selling to homosexuals.
His Endorsements were withdrawn by the National, California and local associations of realtors.
In just a few terms, the five most southern coastal counties in Calif, have shifted from GOP, to Dem.
Namely San Diego, Orange, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo.
Virginia went blue several election cycles ago.
“Mr. Rohrabacher, 71, was viewed as particularly vulnerable because he defended Russia in the midst of allegations about its efforts to intervene in elections in the United States.”
What a lying POS
as time goes by I pray more and more for the predictions of “scientists” to come true and California slips into the sea...*after* the good people there are able to escape.
Then Steely Dan will go back to Annandale.
Mr. Rouda, 56, is a former Republican turned Democrat..
How cozy. An aRnie supporter no doubt.
They got rid of B-1 Bob. They won’t quit until the U.S. is gone.
The Republican Party is a sinking ship. The Republic will inevitably go down with it.

The GOP had a fantastic two-year window of opportunity to change things (2016-2018). The House, the Senate, and the presidency were all in Republican hands.
But nothing was done. And since demographics is destiny, that chance might not come again.
That will not happen. It would have to actually break off the continent. It isnt floating, you know.
Americans remain in California in roughly the same numbers.
It is simply a fact that AMERICANS HAVE BEEN OVERWHELMED BY MEXICAN INVADERS who now are able to outvote the citizenry.
(The left is trying this EVERYWHERE now—it’s called doubling down on success.)
