Hell, I saw all this coming way back in the late 1970s, and that is why I got the hell out of California in 1979. I went back for a few days in 2016 when my Mom dies, but since then there have been weddings of nephews and nieces that I have passed on attending. My 50th high school reunion is coming up next year and I won’t be going back for that, either. I will never again spend a dime in or on California. It used to be paradise, but the f**king Democrats destroyed it. Perhaps it is fitting that the California town that was just destroyed by the fire — and a town they are now saying will never be rebuilt — was named Paradise.

There’s a reason they named it Paradise.

I’m stuck here for family reasons. After Mom’s gone, so am I.

I wonder why it would never be rebuilt. Certainly a fire perimeter could be cleared around the thing but there aren’t many trees left to burn.
