biased pollsters refused to predict this and other GOP Senate as any better than Toss UPs.
But look at all the pro Dem house predictions.

"Nelsons loss end a political career for Nelson dating back to 1972, when he was elected to the Florida House of Representatives from Central Florida. He also spent 12 years in the U.S. House of Representatives and eight years as the states Treasurer, Insurance Commissioner and Fire Marshal before being elected to the Senate in 2000." Thanks God that old decrepit fart is fading away. Nelson never really held a real job in his life.

This is dated around midnight this AM. I think Nelson has demanded a recount since then.

Nelson is conceding before he isn’t.
Did he call Gov. Scott and tell him not to act all uppity about it?

That’s good. Too bad it wasn’t a House seat though.

I’ve lived in Florida for over 24 years and I can’t name a single political accomplishment of Nelson other than having got elected to office.
Can somebody provide a link to a reliable source reporting that Nelson has actually conceded?
I searched but couldn’t find one.
Thanks.

Because of the margin there will be an automatic machine recount.

This article is from just after midnight.
Florida SOS unofficial results shows only a .38 difference - 50.19 - 49.81.(approx. 30k votes)
https://floridaelectionwatch.gov/FederalOffices/USSenator
Nelson tweeted later this a.m. that this election is in a mandatory recount area(under 0.5)
When that determination will be made ? who knows...How Nelson can cover 30K+ in a recount ? let me count the ways.

Obama told Nelson last night that being an empty suit wasn’t all that bad and to join the club.
