Funny isn’t it. Whenever there are reports of machines switching votes, it’s always a republican who notices and complains... My concern has always been what gets sent from the machine to the main computers where totals are created. There is such an opportunity to alter the counts from each machine during those tabulations

On Monday, our son early voted in Beaufort County, (bluffton Hilton head) and while he was there a woman went to a poll worker and reported that she was glad she checked twice because the machine had changed all her votes to Democrat and she had to re-do her selections. Another (definitely DEM poll worker) came to the woman and was enraged that this voter had suggested something was wrong with the machine, “deeze chines hab never giben us troubles. Dere is a law gainst tryin ta makes troubles here.”

The voter asked for someone to talk to regarding the issue and wanted it reported and was refused again with the same attitude, she looked at my son and several other people and asked what she should do, My son had to leave and has no idea what happened.

I vote in the SC 6th district. Commie Clayburn is the house rep for life. Just look at the gerrymandering going on here. The district snakes its way hundreds of miles up the coast into center of the state at Columbia hoovering up the black vote. Crazy.

Bennie Smith, a Memphis computer programmer, discovered HOW this is done through a
" ... a GEMS tabulator—for Global Election Management System—which is a personal computer installed with Diebold software that sits in a windowless room in the county’s election headquarters.
The tabulator is the brains of the system.
It monitors the voting machines, sorts out which machines have delivered data and which haven’t, and tallies the results.
As voting machines check in and their votes are included in the official count, each machine’s status turns green on the GEMS master panel.
A red light means the upload has failed.

At the end of Memphis’s election night in October 2015, there was no indication from the technician running Shelby County’s GEMS tabulator that any voting machine hadn’t checked in or that any votes had gone missing, according to election commission e-mails obtained by Bloomberg Businessweek.
Yet as county technicians followed up on the evidence from Smith’s poll-tape photo, they discovered more votes that never made it into the election night count, all from precincts with large concentrations of black voters. ... "
Diebold Election Systems changed its name in 2006 to Premier Election Solutions.
Bloomberg's article titled How to Protect Against Election Day Hacking gives more proof of this by Memphis computer programmer Bennie Smith.

Tell me ... WHEN does a running total vote count GO DOWN, and NOT UP ?

Color me surprised..... not.

Wife went and voted straight party at lunch today.

When checking the results before hitting cast ballot, she noticed that about one third had been switched to Dem-Rats.

She went back and had to change them back to Pub, verified that they stuck this time and hit cast ballot.

Highly suspect this is occurring to those that vote straight ticket but could be mistaken.

Mine did fine as I never do the straight ticket option.

FYI.... this is central TEXAS.

Richland County Elections Director Rokey Suleman told the news station that he believes the voting malfunctions were caused by a calibration issue with the machines.

He told the news station that officials are now working to recalibrate the machines and also noted that it is typical for recalibrations as much as three times on Election Day.
