In the early 1990's, Argentine authorities opened its archives to reveal that several Nazi war criminals found safe haven in South America, including Dr. Josef Mengele, also known as Auschwitzs Angel of Death. Mengele is infamous for his horrific experiments on inmates at the concentration camp. According to The New York Times in 1992, Mengele entered Argentina using a Red Cross-issued passport in 1949 and practiced medicine in Buenos Aires for several years in the 1950s, specializing in illegal abortions.
According to the report, a young woman died after a botched abortion at the hands of Mengele. For that crime he was detained briefly by a Buenos Aires judge and was released when he appeared in the courtroom with a package presumably filled with a large amount of money. Argentina strongly resisted extradition requests for many Nazi War criminals, Mengele included. In fact, he eluded capture for over 30 years and died after suffering a stroke while swimming off the coast of Brazil at 68 years old. His body was exhumed in 1985 and DNA evidence confirmed the remains to be those of Mengele...

Which was the closest he could come to getting his old job back.
You need to see D’sousza’s new documentary.
Operation Paperclip.
No comparison.
Any advocate for abortion is on the same page.
The guy was a sadistic evil violent maniac who enjoyed torturing human life.
His work continues under Democrat leadership.
BS!
He probably didn’t even mind taking a pay cut.
I’m wondering how many reading this thread has, “The Boys From Brazil,” in their movie collection.
Mossad attempted to capture Mengele in the same raid that captured Eichmann but Mengele, somehow, was a step ahead of them and fled to non-extradition treaty Paraguy before they ever arrived. He later moved to Brazil and lived under an assumed name and died of a stroke that he had while swimming. Never served a day in jail or even stood trial for his crimes. Records show that he actually helped kill a girl while performing an illegal abortion, too. The abortions no doubt padded his wallet and made it possible for him to live a comfortable expatriate life in Brazil and Paraguay.
Or "The Odessa File" ... in either movie or book form.
Haven’t read or seen that one. Will bookmark.
Doubtful Mengele escaped final judgement even though he escaped earthly judgement.
Like most movies adapted from books, the book is better, but the movie is good.

I have the book. Never saw the movie. Not sure I even knew the book was made into a movie.
I hope he didn’t. Remember, that one of the tenets of Nazism was that religion was a fairy tales (as liberal Americans say today) and that the socialist collective Germany was more important than any afterlife. That’s what allows you to condone committing atrocities, because life doesn’t matter, ultimately, and the only thing that will be here forever is the collective or “Reich” in his case. I fervently hope he is still discovering how wrong he was this very day.
Thanks!
