Seriously—none of these articles about King are describing exactly what he said or tweeted that was so objectionable.
The Truth.
He made a defense of western civilization and said that unrestricted immigration is damaging it because those who come in don’t believe in the same ideologies and concepts of western civ and sometimes actively work against it.
This was seen as a dog whistle for racism and white nationalism (western civ is white and immigrants be black yknow)

King linked to an article by the Voice of Europe Friday that quoted Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban saying that cultures shouldn’t be mixed, arguing that it’s “against common sense.”
King tweeted the story with the message, “Diversity is not our strength.”

King, one of the most vocal critics of immigration in Congress, has made controversial statements in the past, including praise for far-right European politician Geert Wilders.
He tweeted a cartoon of Wilders plugging a hole in a wall that read “Western civilization” in March.
“Wilders understands that culture and demographics are our destiny. We can’t restore our civilization with somebody else’s babies,” King wrote at the time.

Funny thing. I’ve never had a problem with any other race and having worked in sheet metal shops in MA and FL, I’ve worked with men from pretty much everywhere except from the middle east. (99% of them were assimilating or in the case of Afro-Americans, were already fully Americans)
Yet I feel the same way as Geert, Faith and Steve King. It’s more about the fact that muslims have no plan to assimilate. Hence Sharia courts in the UK.
