I did not realize GOP voters were this stupid.

Trump came and campaigned for Cruz. Cruz has been one of the best Trump allies in the US Senate.

It is a binary poltical system. Either the R controls or the D controls the Congress.

If R control Trump gets to set the Legislative agenda, if Ds control Trump can do nothing.

If you support Trump, you go out and vote for every single R candidate no matter what. To not vote for Cruz is an act of infantile petulance, not principal.

I will indeed be voting for every Republican.

...that said, it’s easy to say...” To not vote for Cruz is an act of infantile petulance, not principal.”

That has a ring of a Democrat who is wanting to call someone names until they do what the Democrat wants them to do.

It’s far better to use logic than to call names.

Ted Cruz made an mistake in not working with Pres Trump and now there may be terrible consequences.

While I hope that is not the case, we Republicans should never make the mistake of not seeing voters as private individuals but as Republican doormats.... that’s the job for Democrats...

I certainly hope voters can put aside their distaste for Sen Cruz’s past actions. I can, because I see the larger picture, not because I’m ‘owned’ by the Republican Party.
