Actually the the first part of the 14th Amendment says:
“All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside.”
Which leads me to believe that we need a constitutional Amendment(or a modification) to change this. As much as I hate the fact that Children of Illegals become citizens It does appear that the 14th Amendment makes it so. Whoever wrote the 14th amendment was pretty short sited or intended harm to the USA. I keep trying to figure out how I am misreading what it says, but I have not come up with anything. But I sure would like to.
As for the other. It is the Judicial branch that is supposed to enforce legislation. Not the executive. So once again you are not supporting the separation of powers.
OK you are right about law enforcement by the executive Branch. It is very easy to get confused.

In the final analysis, the Constitution trumps them all. it is the supreme authority on our law.
I would suggest you do a tiny bit of research on the 14th Amendment, You will find that the author of the 14th clearly expressed his intention when he wrote it. It was intended to make the former slaves and their children citizens and excluded everyone else, including Native Americans who were deemed NOT Subject To The Jurisdiction of the United States as they were subject to Tribal Law. This was confirmed by the Supreme Court. The 14th was written I believe in 1866, just after the Civil War, and was ratified by the states in 1868.
The child of aliens is not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States as its parents are subject to the jurisdiction of their home country.
“Subject to the jurisdiction of” is the phrase that eliminates the child of foreigners from being a citizen on birth.
The Executive Branch controls the defense of the country. The president is given the power of overseeing the Military and is also the one who has the responsibility of deciding who may or may not enter the country. The judges who fought him on the Travel Ban overstepped their power and the Supremes ruled in favor of the president. Extensive efforts have been made for decades to weaken and nibble away at the Constitution. Fortunately, now we have a president who defends the Constitution as it was written.
I hope I have given you some pointers to research. One thing to remember is that the Constitution is not “wordy” or “verbose.” It says purely and concisely what it intends to say and not one word more. The phrase, “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” would not be there if it had no meaning.
Bingo. SCOTUS can’t weigh in until a case is brought. A case won’t be brought unless Trump gives the left something to file on. Trump isn’t as random as people think.
