As a member in good standing, I received the following request and duly filled out the survey. However, once that survey was completed, I was then asked to fill out yet another political survey! The second survey asked about my political affiliation (the first time the AJLI has asked this), how I felt about Donald Trump, where I got my news and then asked me which woman among three I would prefer to see challenge Donald Trump. The women were Kirsten Gillibrand, Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama! The assumption in all the questions was that AJLI members were anti-Trump. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Greetings Members!
In the past few years, your League has participated in the Association's Transformation journey and has worked tirelessly to redesign your Community Impact, Membership and/or Governance and Management structures. You will be happy to hear that your League was one of the early adopters in this process!
In 2014 we fielded a benchmark survey to establish a baseline against which to compare your League's progress as we proceed on this transformation journey. And in Fall 2016, we administered the survey once again, in order to gauge your and our collective progress. Your responses provided us with a snapshot of how each League was doing in meeting our transformation goals at the onset of the process.
Now, two years later, we are ready to administer the survey once more for Round 3, in order to gauge our progress, and identify where the strengths and opportunities lie as we continue on this journey. We will also be able to compile all of the data across participating Leagues to get an even bigger picture of how the Transformation is changing how Leagues operate across the Association.
This survey is being sent to every member of your League for whom we have an email address and we hope to get as broad a response as possible. We very much appreciate your taking just a few minutes, probably no more than 10 or 15, to complete the survey, which you will find by clicking on the link below. Whether you are a New Member, Active, or Sustainer we want to hear from you. Our Transformation includes assessing how we engage with a member at every stage of her League career, so it's important that we hear from the full spectrum of perspectives. Your individual responses will be confidential and the data from all of the members of your League will be shared only with your League's leadership.
The greater the participation we get from you the richer the data will be!

Junior League has clearly gone downhill.
This letter and the request for a name are you going to lay down lay down is hardly partisan.
I would have nominated Hillary Clinton, that would be a lot of fun for our side, and would dispirit their side beyond measure.

I had to look it up, as I’ve never heard of the Junior League. Why is it called that when it’s a women’s organization, and did they deliberately choose Maiden Lane as their address?
