For instance this could put a be damper on the drug smugglers.

If we could stop the CIA from bringing in drugs that would be a nice 2fer

Other interviews....saying....“We’re going to the United States to get jobs.” ....Others chanted.. “vamos para allá Trump!” (We’re coming Trump) as they clenched their fists in the air..... “We need money and food,” said a 29-year-old man who made the trek with his 21-year-old brother.... “we want a better life!”

Guatemala has long been known as a major smuggling corridor for foreigners from African and Asian countries making their way into the US.......drugs go with the territory.

“”Then there are also the good, old-fashioned, playing of Barry Manilow records, too!””

I object to that!!!! If I’m going to be punished/tortured, I’ll take that form any day!

I wonder why they bother to try to cover their faces. Don’t they know they all look alike to us?

I didn’t see anyone else taking your question but I couldn’t help but remember traveling cross country from CA on Interstate 10 or 20 - forget which as it’s been a long time - from Tucson through to El Paso and on east - that to cross into New Mexico would entail lots of pretty rough walking/hiking in steep canyons. No paved or dirt roads to walk on.

On the other hand, there are no doubt plenty of paths to follow from the hordes who came before. Like one poster said of Camp Pendleton - you could see them nightly walking the RR tracks next to his barracks. On trips from OC to San Diego to visit relatives for years (70’s through 2006) it was easy to see the bare ground over the hills which were their pathways. 2006 was our last trip - escaping from CA! We stopped often on the way down so I could take pictures along the coast...my last sighting of the Pacific! Didn’t matter to my husband and he was leaving the state of his birth!!

Always went past the Border Patrol stations coming and going. Tons of their vehicles lined up in the parking lots - none on the highways! But I bet the card games inside were great.

The only changes in all those years were the signs that were put up warning motorists about “pedestrians” on the freeway - three silhouettes and one a child being pulled by the arm...I guess it was supposed to hit our heart strings - it didn’t - just made us laugh at the idiocy of it all!

500 troops needed to stop the illegals coming from the south and 4500 to watch they’re backs from the illegals and socialist LaRaza liberal democrat sorts north of the border.

It’ll be a nice little piñata bashing festival regardless ..... no good ending IMO unless rules of engagement / use of force is deadly.

Can’t arrest 10,000 angry invaders. Your going to have to kneecap a few thousand up in the front of the line.

Polidiots and Presstitutes oh my.... horrible situation , non-violent solution escapes me .

So you agree that posse comitatus was violated at Waco?

Yeah, just like the experts at DHS and ICE have been handling the issue for years:

Clinton violated everything he could lay his hands on for money and power. Waco was just a side issue to his treasonous behavior selling every top-ultra secret he could to the Chinese for campaign cash ...

They are covering their faces because they are known criminals or gang members. A few have already admitted on camera they have been previously deported.

Yeah now we have 2.5 soldiers every mile. Spit in the ocean. I had 800 people show up for the MM OP is October of ‘04 and we covered one county. Grant you not all 800 showed up at once but had as many as 110 at one time and still we had holes in our lines. 5000 will not cut it

Heck - they all still look alike. When a suspect is wanted in this country who happens to be Mexican - YES, LIBERALS, IT DOES HAPPEN - they are only described on the news or in the paper as having “brown hair and brown eyes” as heaven forbid they should imply a Mexican would be wanted by law enforcement. Well, they should be easy to spot with that much to go on! Good grief! They could put out a description of all the 10,000 or however many there are marching north as all having brown hair and brown eyes! How about “”10,000 LATINOS heading our way””???? Forget the women as I see few of those in the pictures. I actually saw one picture with tons of men and only one woman!

My 2 cents worth - I say no as the military wasn’t used in Waco - nor at Ruby Ridge. Certainly not reported that they were if they were. Strictly federal as I remember it. So let’s send in the National Guard and the Coast Guard not handcuffed by this act. Can the president order in the National Guard or does that have to be done by each state’s governor? But this definition below does raise another question and I may be late to the party - the US military is barred from enforcing STATES laws...and we’re not talking about state laws when it comes to guarding the borders...

“”Posse Comitatus Act
The Posse Comitatus Act is the United States federal law that was passed on June 18, 1878, after the end of Reconstruction and was updated in 1981. Its intent was to limit the powers of Federal government in using federal military personnel to enforce the State laws. The Bill/Act as modified in 1981 refers to the Armed Forces of the United States. It does not apply to the National Guard under state authority from acting in a law enforcement capacity within its home state or in an adjacent state if invited by that state’s governor. The U.S. Coast Guard, which operates under the Department of Homeland Security, is also not covered by the Posse Comitatus Act, primarily because the Coast Guard has both a maritime law enforcement mission and a federal regulatory agency mission.””
