The socio-fascists are hoping, begging, chanting and drumming for the optics of US troops dealing with invading “walkers.” Just like the “Trump-loving-radical-bomber” that miraculously appeared two weeks before the mids.

They have never really gotten the violent conservative backlash they have been hypocritically been preaching.

Stay alert

“...I’m afraid most of the invaders WILL be here to stay; being on US soil kicks into play a whole, long legal process...”

That is incorrect.

By international law, the so-called refugees were required to request asylum in the first country that offered such. Mexico them offered asylum, and the “refugees” refused that offer. Therefore, the United Sates has the full legal right to deny these fools entry and asylum. Moreover, the president has full constitutional authority to decide who is to be admitted into this country - and that dispute was already settled by the SCOTUS.

You'll only have to demonstrate the principle.

That is a much better number. I hope many are infantry or combat veterans. I don't want violence, but I want no one to illegally cross into this country. I should be a circus. I hope when the caravan gets close Marshal law is declared, so the liberal attorneys have less wiggle room.

Those keyboard "armchair" generals are pathetic.

I will leave this in the hands of President Trump, James Mattis, and our military. Those are the experts. Not a bunch of uninformed cranky shut-ins, anonymously jawboning nonsense on an internet discussion forum.

FWIW, when I was stationed in Camp Pendleton, CA during the mid 1980s, my barracks was alongside the train tracks that ran north-south along the I-5 corridor. At night, we could literally see dozens of Mexicans walking up those tracks. This infuriated us as Marines but we were not authorized to do anything about it. I can only imagine how much worse it got since.

I think Trump should declare martial law along the border. Declare a half mile militarized zone that nullifies any rights to automatic asylum. Make holding pens within that’ half mile and never let them through.

IF we have ‘Stand Your Ground’ rules in a number of states, why don’t “Stand Your Ground” rules apply at our BORDER???

I don’t get it.

Right, because I’d like the POTUS to speak factually correctly about one of the most major events in the country’s history, that makes me a concern troll.

Putz.

Shh, you're ruining the fun of naysayers and trolls. Hard to believe they are sincere; also interesting that FR permits that kind of activity. Hoping for increased controversy?

T_D doesn't allow that kind of intentional, obvious counter ops - their ban hammer is swift and resolute. End effect is T_D continues to grow in users and comments, because posters can communicate and exchange rational opinions, instead of fighting back against either plants or simple worry warts.

We do if Congress declares it. Then the President can enforce it.

“they touch American soil, they’re home free.”

Also, they turned down an offer of asylum from Mexico.

I think a 2 minute hearing at the border could handle it - and sessions has recruited lots of judges.

In the president’s tweet he mentions they need to go through the “legal process”.

Well, that’s the problem here. Once they plead asylum they have to be admitted to the “legal process” of applying for asylum and getting a court date. They cannot be turned away immediately according to U.S. law.

I don’t know the exact lawor when it was passed , but many here have posted that there is one on the books currently. That once they reach the border, we are obligated to take them in and process them. And they are entitled to a court hearing. And since we can’t lock them all up, they are just released. And of course never make it back for the court appearance
