I never heard the concrete barriers called by that name

neither have I heard them called that. Maybe a regional thing.

Thanks for explanation. I suspected something like that but was not sure if it was regular construction barriers or something special that we already have in the military system.

Originally designed and used in New Jersey. Put crossways across traffic lanes, they stop vehicular traffic — like when the border is sealed shut. On railroad tracks, one just removes a section of rail.

Some Freepers lack imagination and under estimate our President. Apparently they became acclimated to stupid the Hussian Obammy!
