Former FBI agents have warned against jumping to conclusions about why mail bombs were sent to President Trump's political enemies.
While speculation about the reason the packages were mailed this week runs from an effort to murder the addressees to a "false flag" campaign to damage Republicans ahead of the midterm election, experienced investigators say it is is difficult to deduce much about the bombmaker or his or her motive based on available public details.
Often, they caution, motives are not what they at first appear.
“I wouldn't eliminate Republican leanings or Democratic leanings. The bottom line is, it is a political message that someone is sending out,” said 35-year FBI veteran James Wedick. "You have to ask, 'What message was being sent?'”

If a conservative did this, the bombs would have been more like a working bomb.
If a conservative did this, the spellings would have been correct.
If a conservative wanted to send a message, then a message would be attached to the bombs, saying “next time, these will be real”
Other than a mentally ill person, I cannot see how a conservative did this.
It’s funny how they call these people Trump enemies. Trump’s enemies are Schumer, Pelosi, Swalwell, Schiff, Senator Warner, Shep Cavuto, any Sanctuary City Mayor. In sum, none of these people got the cartoonish libtard packages saying ‘git ur dun’ and a bunch of people that may yet be defendants in cases, but have no power to do anything unless a bureaucrat is willing to take on crimininal liability for them some day, did. An obvious hoax.
The more packages sent the easier it’ll be to find the sender/senders ,only if the “I’m With Her” FBI stays away
You know what, this whole operation is bush league. The person or persons are total amateurs and should be caught easily and quickly.
IF they are not, then that speaks more to political awareness/opportunism by someone. A lone kook doing this should be very easy to find.
The odds of that are extremely low. Conservatives are facing huge gains in the midterms and would have nothing to gain.
More importantly, conservatives don’t send bombs to people. It’s strictly a progressivist behavior.

I’d consider the list of targets to be a list of suspects.
Attacks that I’ve thought of during this is the supposed false flag (per FBI) the Anthrax Attacks, & the bombings by Luke Helder (nutcase Smiley Face Bomber) & by Austin Bomber (supposed right wing). They found Luke Helder quickly, Anthrax guy took years, & still not definitive since he killed himself when named. If they are being honest & working hard, one would think within weeks, but I cannot trust them when it very likely can be liberal doing it to effect the election.

If it’s a garden variety kook, and they are apolitical but deranged, then they would be mailing bombs to someone who bullied them or an ex.
If they were a kook and political, then they would send them to any politician who ever made them mad regardless of strict party lines or political level. The local animal warden would get one for telling him to bring his loud animal inside after 10pm, or a certain far away governor would get one because they were at the forefront of a specific issue that this kook was obsessed about.
No, this isn’t an unhinged kook, and it’s definitely not apolitical. They are targeting everyone that would make Trump look by association.
