President Trump announced Monday that he will introduce a new tax cut for middle-class Americans in November.
Were giving a middle-income tax reduction of about 10 percent were doing it now for middle-income people, he told reporters. The president described the proposed tax cuts again Monday night while speaking at a Ted Cruz rally in Texas, saying, Were going to be putting in a 10 percent tax cut for middle-income families. Its going to be put in next year. In addition to the big tax cuts youve already gotten. He added that Congress would vote on the proposal after the November elections.
Unlike the Trump administrations Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, which benefited both the middle class and American businesses, the president says the new tax break is not for business at all and is exclusively aimed at helping the middle class.
Following President Trumps announcement, Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin told press that he had been working with Congressional leaders to create a tax plan focusing on the American middle class, with director of the National Economic Council Larry Kudlow also confirming, saying the presidents proposed tax cuts were in the planning stage.
Since Congress passed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act last year, American families have seen bigger paychecks and more opportunity, and workers have been better off than ever before. This summer, manufacturing activity hit its highest point in 14 years, and wages are increasing faster than they have since 2009 when the United States began climbing up from the lowest point of the recession.
By introducing another tax cut focused solely on benefiting the middle class, President Trump is keeping his promise to revive the economy and improve the lives of hard-working Americans.
And it will be voted on AFTER the November elections. So, Democrats, will you announce support for the tax cuts? It could make a difference in close races. Cat got you tongue?
This is brilliant
A lot of the close races in red/purple districts are close because you have Democrat lying that they are a “different kind of Democrat” not like those nasty Leftist Democrats in DC.
Every single GOP candidate should force their opponent to take a position on this tax cut issue. Either the Democrat is going to have to lie and support the President, or they are going to have to expose themselves as just part of the Democrat party machine.
The leftists will call 10% ‘crumbs’.
And my local government will see this and promptly raise our taxes again. Which is where a large chunk of the last of our crumbs went.
Plus the fact the medical is through the roof but illegals and welfare whores still get freebies.
So now democrats will all become deficit hawks...
I’ll say it again. Call the next tax cut The Final Solution.
Repeat after me: ALL TAX CUTS ARE GOOD.
Trump also announced those tax cuts at his Wisconsin Rally held 10/24/ 7:30pm. Well received.
No doubt they will. Democrats only care about deficits when Republicans are in the White House and Republicans only care about deficits when Democrats are in the White House.
Did you forget the </sarcasm> tag?
Repeat after me: Tax cuts for ALL are good.
Do you understand the distinction? :-)
No, tax cuts for all is indeed better, but all tax cuts are good. Get it?
I cordially invite you to visit the wasteland that is Upstate NY. To see what billions in “tax cuts” have wrought.
No, not all tax cuts are good. And if you’d care to see for yourself, I am at your disposal for a guided tour.
Pard, tax cuts don’t occur in a vacuum. All taxation is legalized plunder. Until we get that through our heads as a nation, a sound tax policy cannot result.
For the record.......
New Yorkers have not been paying their fair share of taxes for a very long time. By deducting state taxes in the highest taxed state in the nation, New York was forcing the state tax burden on the rest of the country.
The President and the current congress forced New York into reality.
[I cordially invite you to visit the wasteland that is Upstate NY.]
Yep, and Cueball’s fracking ban finished it off for good.
Oh, I see. Raising taxes on upstate NY would have been better and soooooooooooooooooooooooo much more helpful to their economic situation. /sarcasm
ALL TAX CUTS ARE GOOD.
John Keynes, is that you?
All TAX CUTS ARE GOOD.
