...and endorsing Democrat Mark Begich against Republican Mike Dunleavy...

The ultimate insult.

This isn’t how to handle a dropout situation where you want to help one candidate while sinking the other.

Something else is going on.

19 Oct: Daily Caller: EXCLUSIVE: He’s Running For Governor As A Single Dad, But His Ex-Wife Says He Treated Her ‘Like A Prisoner,’ Bruised Her Neck
by Andrew Kerr
•Nevada Democratic gubernatorial candidate Steve Sisolak’s campaign image as a single father raising two successful daughters is a lie, according to his ex-wife, Dallas Garland.
•She said Sisolak treated her like “a total prisoner” throughout their 13-year marriage and that he drove a wedge between her and her children.
•Garland said she was left with a bruised neck after an altercation with Sisolak after she filed for divorce in 2000, according to pictures and a contemporaneous diary entry.
•Sisolak’s two children dispute Garland’s account in a sworn statement, saying Garland, not Sisolak, was the aggressor.
Garland also detailed an August 2000 incident that she says left a bruise on her neck and ended with Sisolak threatening to call the police. TheDCNF obtained photographs of Garland’s bruised neck taken the day after the incident and spoke with three individuals who recalled seeing her bruised neck...

What did the Lt Governor say and why is it such a closely guarded secret?

Mallott, a 75 year old Democrat, apparently tried to hit on a 16 year old girl and mama bear heard it and exploded. This was at the Alaska Federation of Natives convention, of which Mallott was a founding member. AFN leadership kicked him out and he flew back to Juneau and resigned.

Already voted via absentee for Dunleavy. But, this is just weird.

I think the opposition to Dunleavy saw the writing on the wall.

They would lose. They had to change tactics.

Already voted via absentee for Dunleavy.

How can you vote for Dunleavy when you're from Texas? I thought it was only Democrats committing voter fraud!

I am an Alaska resident currently stationed in Texas. I have voted absentee since 2001. Military.

Mallott paying him back for the stab in the back by threatening to tell what he knows?

Is a write-in candidacy for someone else a possibility?

Isn't that how Murkowski got in???

Isn’t this good news for Dunleavy? I thought he had a nice lead, and Walker was a threat to split the vote.

Then again, a sitting governor dropping out says two things: 1) He doesn’t like his reelection chances
2) Those who liked him initially now will go to Begich.

God, I pray Dunleavy gets the wind in his sails (or oil freighter, as the case may be). In Jesus’ name, amen

The revelation might ruin his life for the future. So to avoid the revelation side with the accusers, who will then remain mum.

Endorse the Dem or else?

I didn’t know that about you! Thank you! :)

Mark Begich can win if alittle less than half Republicans vote for him like they did with IDIOT Murkowski

Heh.

I’m pretty sure Sig is a resident of WA state. Besides, he wouldn’t want the pay cut, the drop in celebrity status or the absence of adrenaline rush.

Eh, I’ve seen it before. Louisiana’s jungle primary, there were 2 Dems (Landrieu and Ieyoub), and 3 Republicans (Woody Jenkins, Peggy Wilson, and I forget who the third one was). Peggy and the other R got out so that Woody could make the runoff.

Jenkins did make the runoff, didn’t quite beat Landrieu.

So it could be that Walker wants Begich rather than Dunleavy, or there could be more to it than that.

He called a gal “Horseface” right to her face. She’s not even a dancer.
