This situation just doesn’t seem right because it runs in the opposite direction of normal. It is supposed to stop government coercion of testimony against someone not affiliated with government. Bruce Ohr was abusing his power as a government official. Doesn’t feel right to protect him when he was the one dishing out government abuse.
