Stamps are also available at the grocery store service counter. But not at the local fast food-Starbucks-tavern-bar-pet store-electronics store-gamers store-convenience 7-11 store-running shop-herbal tea store-organic gardens shop-flower shop-e-cigarette shop-health food store-outdoor adventure shop .....
I am beginning to see a trend here.
Who needs a post office?
Grocery stores and convenience stores carry them. Students can probably buy them at the Student Union.
If they are that stupid, they shouldn’t vote.
Every town has a Food Lion supermarket, where stamps can be bought... there’s no excuse.
Are stamps required? I just voted by absentee ballot in the state of Florida no postage was required.
Or and more likely a June poll posted in The Atlantic magazine found just 28% of young voters were “certain” to vote.
Making things worse for Democrats it also found 78% of older voters are certain to vote!
Why would a young person need to buy a stamp? They've probably never used one. I don't think I've used a postage stamp in three years.
Might as well ask them if they know how to send a telegraph.
When I was in college, voting age was 21. And absentee voting was frowned upon by local government because students could vote for property tax bills.
So I never voted in a presidential election until I was out of college.
The college town I lived in then was one of the most conservative in Texas. Still is.
Lots of talk about millennials leaning to the left. That doesn’t yet translate into electoral participation.

Were I a politician, I would have a proposed law to completely reform our voting system
1. Within 30 days of the national election, completely purge all voter rolls
2. Voters must re-register to vote every five years.
3. Two pieces of positive Identification required to register. One must be Government issued.
4. Early voting is eliminated
5. Online or mail in ballots are eliminated
6. Absentee ballots require a specified reason before issuance
7. Provisional and same day registration/voting is eliminated
8.One for of Government issued Identification is required to vote.
9. Positive voter evidence (Purple ink, etc) is utilized.
Voting should have some level of difficulty. If you can’t haul your carcass off the couch on election day, don’t vote. it’s that simple.
And the other half are licking the envelope and trying to apply the stamp.

Don’t leave out the bunch that are holding their vote up to the computer screen ...
I agree, but counties want early voting to reduce the number of poll workers required to tabulate and operate the polling places.
But, I agree totally with your ideal voting situation.
The ComDem have for generations have generated voting rules that are in their favor. Motor voter registration is a prime example, but there are many more.
Florida requires two ‘forever’ stamps unless you’re a wounded vet...
Counties want early voting to reduce oversight and add chances for cheating.
My 5 year old knows where to buy stamps...at Publix, Winn-Dixie or the post office...or you can go to Stamps.com, too.
I agree, but in our local case, it is not so. I know the people and they are on our side.
Not sure about the rest of the country, but here in Contra Costa County, California, mail-in ballots can be dropped off at special drop boxes in every City Hall in the county, along with about another half-dozen locations where people gather frequently (senior centers, libraries and the like). It’s easy for me, as I walk by the Department of Elections building at least once a week, so I’ll drop my ballot there tomorrow.
Saves me the time and trouble of stamping it and trusting the USPS to deliver it in time for the county people to process it. That, and the fact that our ballot is so bloated with garbage issues that it costs 92 cents (that’s almost 3 ounces!) to mail.
Maybe what some of these colleges should do is to set up a similar drop box at some central location on the campus where the dear, sweet SJWs can place their ballots.
Any excuse for the liberal’s doing poorly.
Plus, they can’t tell time from analog clocks or read cursive.
The future looks doubtful for these people.
