At least seven murals in San Francisco’s iconic Clarion Alley have been defaced with right-wing Republican slogans this weekend.
A mural touting immigrant rights has been plastered with red “Make America Great Again” hats, a hashtag followed by the phrase “Fake News” was painted over a mural of honoring people slain by police and “KAVANAUGH justice for all!” was plastered over a mural that used to read “JUSTICE FOR SAHLEEM TINDLE,” an Oakland man shot and killed by BART police.

Most likely done by liberals to counteract the traction that the “mob” criticism is getting after the Kavanaugh circus.
the Saleed “mural” that had the addition of Kavanaugh looks to me like the pull-down back door of a truck not a fixed mural on a wall or such.
I find false flag vandalism to be plausible.
At least a little thought went into it, no swastikas or racial slurs, otherwise it would be over the top obvious fake.
My money is on fake.
It looks like the fraudsters used very thin paint to do the MAGA hats that should be very easy to wash off. The “vandalism” (on top of earlier vandalism) is probably no more destructive than writing “Trump” on a sidewalk with chalk. You can expect a public celebratory cleansing, with media heavily in attendance, by a group of non-white non-male activists.
But at least they spelled MAGA right.

Read the article and look at the pictures. Block long mural; attacked at seven locations. This work was not done in haste.
Look at how carefully the many red with white lettering hats that were painted in on the one panel. White letters are crisp meaning the red paint was completely dry when it was applied. Look at the number and style of the red hats. Everyone of them is carefully painted in and is even depicted with a bill. What right wing “vandal,” working under cover of darkness, is able to take that much time in defacing something they “hate?”
Nope. This “vandalism” was probably thought up and executed by members of the artistic community themselves as an act of provocation.
And...
It will soon be reported that, miraculously, the defacing markings were painted with a soluable media that can easily be removed without damaging the underlying “art.”
Stupid left wing jerks! If you are going to deface something and blame it on someone else, at least study their style and execute it boldly.

Just feeling contrary this morning so I’m going to disagree with the prevailing sentiment.
I think that it was done by an underground conservative group.
1. It appears to be washable paint. Leftists would have used permanent because that’s the way they roll so they expect the right to roll that way as well.
2. No swastikas. The left believe, fervently, that we are white supremacists and Nazis. There would have been at least one.
3. The Kavanaugh statement is very right wing. No leftist would have worded it that way.
Just my take.

The absurdity of imagining conservatives conspiring on this:
CONSERVATIVE 1: Hey! I have a great idea! Let's go to that place where all the Leftists paint their murals and put MAGA hats on them and stuff about Kavanaugh!
CONSERVATIVE 2: Yeah! We can put stuff there about hating blacks and jews too! Maybe paint a few swastikas!
The reality is, if conservatives were going to do something, it would likely involve a tray of paint to roll on the wall, and would likely match the existing base coat of paint.
So now it’s “defacing” to place conservative graffiti over liberal graffiti?
That top picture looks like it’s somebody’s garage door.
I call it an enhancement ,,
