“That is NOT how immigration worked in this country for a very long time.”

My great grandparents on my father’s side came over as indentured servants from Sweden and had to work like beasts of the field before they discharged their passage debt. The Koch brothers can sod off.

Koch Brothers = Bush43&45 = Chamber of Commerce = GOPe = Cheap labor express = Democrat party ---> import cheap immigrants to replace American citizens ---> export manufacturing to Mexico & China & cheap labor countries to maximize profits ---> let those products manufactured abroad come in tariff free.

Mine came over in the earl 1920s and they had to be self supportive and be examined to be healthy. Others here bfore them had to show they had a place to stay and they had to have some money, and have a job lined up.

If they believe it’s morally right then I’m sure they will step forward andpickup the tab.

The Koch brothers said THAT????? WTH????

I always thought they were in favor of free markets. Welfare ain’t markets, it’s socialism. And socialism is only a stepping stone to communism.

I’m sad that they’ve taken that route.

Billionaires are favour of free enterprise for themselves and regulations and confusion for the rest of us. It’s how they maintain their social positions in society.

“Morally right” to the Koch brothers translates to “ financially advantageous”. To them.

If they come here and work and pay taxes, yes, but if we have to pay more for their social services, education and healthcare, then, NO!

What morally wrong is being a bunch of billionaires and doing nothing to improve their situation so they don’t have to leave home. Instead bring them here where they are leaches to the taxpayers.

You state that we need to help them grow their own economies and help them to help themselves.

We’ve tried that approach with other competing nations who now walk all over us, stealing our intellectual properties, and not contributing a dollar to world organizations which we are almost fully supporting alone. How about we let them make it on their own, just as we did. If they’re intelligent enough, they’ll figure it out. And if not smart enough and don’t have enough gumption to fend for themselves, they’re not worth wasting our time with.

So these are the Koch brothers everyone seemed to think were so conservative a few years ago?

Neo-con globalists aren’t conservatives no matter what they call themselves.

The pro-mass immigration, GOP megadonor, billionaire Koch brothers are opposing President Trump’s initiative to save American taxpayers from having to subsidize welfare-dependent legal immigrants.

Let's see democrats wholeheartedly support and endorse that statement.

But, the Koch brothers must be going senile if they really such believe in such idiocy.

It must be very easy for billionaires to give away the "taxpayers' money". Why not ask the taxpayers how they feel about somebody deciding how to spend their money?
