Koch Brothers: Trump is ‘Wrong,’ It’s ‘Morally Right’ to Import Foreign Welfare Dependents
Breitbart ^ | 10/14/2018 | John Binder

The pro-mass immigration, GOP megadonor, billionaire Koch brothers are opposing President Trump’s initiative to save American taxpayers from having to subsidize welfare-dependent legal immigrants.

Since February, Breitbart News has reported how the Trump administration is set to enforce an existing law whereby foreign nationals seeking to permanently resettle in the U.S. would need to prove that they will not become drains on the American taxpayer.

...

Freedom Partners Executive Vice President Nathan Nascimento said in a statement that mass migration welfare-dependent foreign nationals to the U.S. is “morally right,” calling Trump’s reform “the wrong approach.”

“We should always welcome people who desire to come here and contribute because is it both morally right and their efforts benefit our nation, economy, and taxpayers,” Nascimento said.

Koch Brothers live in large houses... put a an extra hundred of them IN the Koch’s mansions and a few thousand on the yards - and let the Koch brothers support them.

I firmly believe the pro-immigration wing of the GOP was completely, completely sold out because they wanted cheap immigrants.

They were completely ok with giving away the entire GOP. Ready to sell out to the dems, as long as they could keep on bringing in illegals, for cheap wages.

I think it was that simple.

Completely sold out.

That is why Trump won.

Those that want illegal immigrants are tacitly supporting a form of slavery...Democrats wanted it in the 1800s and they want it now. Refusing to pay the going wage for work, and offloading the burden on actual citizens, while they sit where they think it won't affect them in the very least.

It is amazing just how stupid people can become very rich.
Hard to understand.

He is talking about “foreigners” and has no idea who they are, what their history is, what their character is and yet the brothers think it is OK to invite them into the country.

I hope they never are in a position to HIRE people.

OH...wait...they are.

Absolutely true. The nobles still want serfs to work the fields, clean bathrooms, do laundry and make whimsical shapes out of shrubbery. They damn sure don’t want to pay for it.

"Can he explain why?!?!?!

The Brothers of idiocy answered this question:

"companies struggle to find workers (when Trumps economy has very low unemployment rate)"

Billionaires are favour of free enterprise for themselves and regulations and confusion for the rest of us. It’s how they maintain their social positions in society.

Yes - They achieve a near-monopoly position, then use their wealth to manipulate politicians into creating regulations that make it more difficult for newcomers to enter the market. "Barriers to entry" is, I think, the economist term.

We need fewer barriers to entry, not more. Ford, GM, et.al., would have a whole different outlook on the auto industry if the regulatory barriers weren't there to protect them.

Well, let's see. My father was an immigrant as a child. He learned a trade, became a productive citizen, and served in the Navy during WW II. My wife is an immigrant. She was supporting herself as a ranch owner when we met.

I see no reason why current immigrants shouldn't be held to the same standards. Let them contribute something to America instead of being a net loss.
