Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Wednesday promised the American people that Republicans will deliver full funding for President Donald Trump’s planned border wall, a move that comes just a day after House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy in a Breitbart News exclusive announced the rollout of a new bill to do just that.
“We are committed to helping the president get wall funding,” McConnell said at an Associated Press event on Wednesday morning, per press reports.
McConnell’s push for the wall comes in the wake of his successful effort alongside Senate Republicans to confirm now Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh over the past several months amid a nasty smear campaign of uncorroborated allegations furthered by Senate Democrats and leftists in media.

And this is what it has all been about. Trump will leverage his recent victories into The Wall rather than Turing back to punish the Democrats on The Senate Judiciary COmmittee. Law Enforcement can handle criminals. We get The Wall. STILL NOT TIRED OF WINNING.

I’m not sure I believe him, but the mere fact that he said it indicates that NeverTrumpism is collapsing.
Mitch McConnell said all along that he would fund the wall later this year early next. Promises made promises kept. I have no doubt the wall will be funded and built in the next two years and if we lose the house in Nov we get it back for the next 4 years. Things are looking good for America.

McConnell has two things he's done right and they are both Trump Judicial nominees. He's a spineless anti-Trumper (IMO). He has a VERY long way to go to win me over. This sounds good from him. But I wouldn't trust him with sponge and spoon if he were alone on an island.
Now, has the House GOP gotten together to make some united campaign promises to make the election a national effort? Someone poke Paul Ryan. Remind him there is an election coming up and he is the over paid leader of that group.

This is just election posturing. Mitch will be singing another tune after November 6th.
McConnell has delivered on some tax relief and of course judges, but not much else.
He has squashed not only funding for the wall, but also real spending cuts or any significant reforms for the last two years. But now that the midterms are upon us, he’s saying the right stuff.
Just don’t be fooled. And remember how many millions he and his wife have received for the China sellout over decades.
How is McConnell going to get Democrats to vote for the wall? Can he attach the bill to appropriations and then get Murkatkowsky and Collins to vote for it. What about Flake? He is still looking for a spot on the Soros payroll.
Looks to me like the RINOs have their fingers in the wind and foresee nothing but VICTORY FOR TRUMP.
