OUR job is to get more pro-wall repubs into office.
smoke and mirrors before the mid-terms. The wall is now the new issue to manipulate conservative voters with. Kind of like abortion, or repealing obamacare. Promises made to get re-elected, but never delivered upon. Funny how they embrace Trump’s agenda now that they need our votes again. Snakes!
I always thought that the reason McConnell was against things like the wall was that it created tension within his beloved Senate, and he preferred to find mutual ground instead of hostile ground.
Perhaps, now he's woke to the thought that it was always hostile ground to the Democrats, and McConnell was being played?
Maybe now, with this new awakening, McConnell can push harder on getting the rest of Trump's administrative nominations confirmed after languishing for two years?

McConnell and McCarthy have both opposed the wall the past two years in every way they could behind Trump’s back. Now with an election approaching, and Trump’s approval rating sky high, the bought and paid for McConnell and the bought and paid for McCarthy are doing what snakes do...……..”slither”.

McConnell saved our bacon with the Judges he’s put on the bench. For the first time in decades we have a conservative Supreme Court.
Why does that matter? Because democrats have spent years ‘legislating’ from the bench.
Example: EVERY time ‘gay marriage’ was put before voters IT FAILED. So democrats took it to ‘their judges’ who quickly made it ‘law of the land’. It was the same with creepy men using women’t bathrooms with the blessings of the Court.
McConnell has put a stop to all that...
He’s putting judges on the bench who KNOW the limits of their jobs. It will change the world.
Good comment, GOPJ. McConnell is on Trump’s side — and our side. He’s proved that many times in the last 2 years.
And pushing for the Wall at this juncture plays well into our hands because it continues Trump’s recent theme: “The Democrats are the party of CRIME”.
They protect MS-13, Open Borders, Sanctuary Cities, and talking away our civil rights via the #<MeTooHustle.
Flake is gone. He’s not running. Lame duck is an understatement.
Flake’s not an issue - but even if he was McConnell was able to get Flake on board to vote for Kavanaugh... if he pulled that off McConnell can also get ‘a flake type’ to vote for the wall.
By the way, when Flake asked for a week so the FBI could take a 5th or 6th or 7th look at Kavanaugh - it was the best move we could have made. We owe Flake for that one and McConnell. It save the women’s vote for our side.

McConnell's past track record otherwise, on everything from Repealing ACA to past budgets, is RINO-Noodle. They are still passing debt driving Omnibus bills. Except they have all agreed to bring back the Pork Spending (riders) to support status quo deficit escalation.
Nope. If this, along with Lindsay Graham's newly found passion/spine is the start of a trend toward more conservative governance across the GOP, I'll be happy to change my tune. Until then, I'll continue to rub lotion on my backside for the abuse conservative voters have taken dating back to 2008 when the Tea Party Movement started putting "conservatives" in political seats (Hell, maybe before that under the bloated Bush spending years).
