As a Washoe County resident, I took note of the people running for sheriff. I just did a quick check and posted comments on each focusing on their view regarding illegal aliens and the 2nd amendment (guns in school and overall). Please take a look. What else can you add? Any thoughts on the many candidates? Recommendations?
That photo instills a sense of strength, command and leadership needed for the office of Sheriff.
Today, it’s almost a guarantee that “looks” will tell you where they stand politically. Lesbos and bearded cucks mean they’re likely Communists and will be 100% against normalcy and law & order.
I see it was a real treat in the last Reno Mayoral election: 2 Democrats. Just like the horror in California getting to pick between Stalinist Democrat #1 and Maoist Democrat #2.

This is a two horse race now between Balaam and Howe. Both horses are lame. Neither one of them was a successful patrol deputy. Now the sheriff’s main job may be to administer the jail but Washoe County also has a sizable patrol presence as there are something like 100,000 people who reside in unincorporated Washoe County. I know both candidates though I would not call them friends. Neither suggests competence but Darin Balaam is at least smart enough to surround himself with competent people. Heidi will be a grievance warrior. Left unsaid about her repeated denials for promotion is a pattern of poor judgement and incompetence. She is very good in public and uttering buzzwords. Not a choice I would want to make. Fortunately I no longer live there.
Here is a little vignette from my 71 years of life. Worked in apron with a frail guy who wore glasses and blonde hair. Inmates whistled and catcalled. After two weeks the newbie was assigned to the hospital waiting room. Inmate started up. he soft dup and said, I bet i can put 5 of your son the flora at one time. he did. No one ever disrespect this ranger again. He wound yup the security for the governors family in sacramento. i don’t judge people by looks. i judge what they say and do. Want examples of how the smaller guys are usually the leader of the gang? Nuns who could ave been broadway dancers. I’ll vote for sheriff on record and not their hair who they are shagging over the age of 17. Have a nice one.

Missed Darin Balaam in my look a bit ago. Status quo on ICE. No guns in school. Mentions guns and mental issues. So, carefully says nothing. Someone writes in thread he and anti-gun Howe are leading contenders. Sad choices if true.

Emphasize why I said “today.” Take a gander at the leftist pols today and the loon supporters. They all LOOK a certain way. 50 or so years ago it was harder to tell people’s politics on looks. They might look perfectly normal and be a nutter. Today, it’s a different story. That was the point I’m making.
Put up photos of 10 people, Trump supporters & the Never Trump loons, and I gay-run-tee you’re gonna nail 9 out of 10 of them on looks alone.
