Something similar was tried before on a college campus. Can’t remember the details, but “quotes” by Obama were read and the students just swooned. Then it was revealed those were the words of Trump and the kids because enraged and, I believe, a bit violent.
Actually, Steinem wrote an op-ed in 1998 in the NY Times about Bill Clinton grabbing a handful of Kathleen Willey not Paula Jones, and excused Clinton because he stopped when Willey said no. This from the leader of the feminist movement that continues to tell us that unwanted attention is tantamount to sexual assault and unwanted touching is a capital offense. As well in that article, Steinem further pegged the feminist hypocrisy meter by approving of Clinton's relationship with a subordinate, a very young subordinate, Monica Lewinsky, saying it was not a coercive relationship. This is yet another thing feminists continue to insist that whenever a man in power is in a relationship with a subordinate, it's always coercive even if the subordinate says it's consensual because his position makes it impossible not to be coercive.
The Times has removed the article from its website, but the smart guys at MRC have a link to a jpg of it within an article that discusses its disappearance. https://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/tom-blumer/2017/12/26/has-new-york-times-made-gloria-steinems-original-1998-defense-bill
For those who are disinclined to click through, here you go:
Lest we forget Sarah Palin. Hypocrites all.
That is really funny-—when you realize that the Bill Clinton Library looks exactly like a LARGE TRAILER !!!!
Trump didnt mock the lying winch. He stated facts. He read her testimony.
Never have two people in 20 years aged as bad as the Clintons. That what boozing, lying, cheating, stealing and whoring around will do for you.
Yes, but the liberal left did just as C.S. Lewis once wrote,
“And then she understood the devilish cunning of the enemies’ plan, by mixing a little truth with it they made their lie far stronger.”
Trump spoke the truth.
It was not mocking. President Trump stated the truth. He repeated what Ford said.
I agree. President Trump’s remarks about Ford’s credibility were true unlike the statements and treatment of Bill Clinton’s victims by Hillary and her evil minions.
This recent manufactured horror against a good man such as Kavanaugh and his family has me experiencing 20-year-old memories from the revolting Clinton era. It’s almost like PTDS, but I’m tougher than those bitter, middle-aged leftist women who urge the young SJWs to scream in elevators at those they disagree with, so I refuse to break down at the insane hypocrisy. I’m proud of my femininity and can appreciate any man who stands up to this hysteria.
Sigh. I only hope that one day the Clintons and their ilk will pay for their crimes. At this point it will be when they all die. There is very little justice in this world. It looks like God will be their judge.
So, it’s OK for a woman to make up stories and slander a potential SCOTUS pick, but it’s NOT OK to CALL her on it?
Got it! ;)
