I remember back in May of 1970 .... five other Army Security Agency code guys and I had just arrived on a little bus at Fort Devens after our basic training at Fort Dix. Our bus arrived in a hard rain and it was around midnight.
When we walked in to get set up one of the regulars there referred to us as "NOOBS". That was cool and perfectly easy to take in the context of the military.

Her hair, on her right side drove me nuts when it was curled around her eyeglasses. It didn't seem to bother her. She'd fix her left side but ignored the right. Took her about ten minutes to get around to it.
