Companies headquartered in California can no longer have all-male boards.
That's according to a new law, enacted Sunday, which requires publicly traded firms in the state to place at least one woman on their board of directors by the end of 2019 — or face a penalty. It also requires companies with five directors to add two women

Looks like what companies still “headquartered” will soon be moving their headquarters. California must be hellbent on running every source of tax revenue out of the state. Nevada real estate is probably a good investment.
The running joke will be “a bitch in every board room”.
This will be challenged and make its way to the Supreme Court. It just doesn’t have any legality attached to it. The company, just for the sake of playing the game....could go to some retirement home and hire some 80-year old gal to be the token-woman.
The same type law could be reshuffled and require that of the nine positions on a baseball team...one must be a woman, or that of the five starters on a basketball court...one must be a woman.
What the political opposition candidates should be doing is develop some graphics demonstrating what soviets style government (socialism) with all these rules and regulations are costing taxpayers and resulting in them fleeing the state.

An interesting point. If Gary Jones self-identifies Genny Jones on the day of the board meetings will Womyn be able to complain without being called “Genderist”?

Next, there will have to be a black and Hispanic. Can’t have nothing but old white men who don’t understand. And you know there is an unwritten rule in college basketball that you must have at least two of the coaches of the basketball team be black. Used to be one, but I don’t think any team has just one anymore. Same with commercials on television. And where there are both blacks and whites on the same commercial, the white person/family have to play the parts of the idiots. Espescially the white male.
I worked for a major company that was headquartered out of San Diego in the 1990s. One day, the CFO went off on a four-week vacation. When he returned...he wasn’t a ‘he’ anymore. Somewhere in the that week of the return, the CEO decided that this wasn’t going to be accepted, and terminated the ‘gal’. Course, it went to court, and the company ended paying out around a million at the time, but looking at this ‘rule’, a transgender would qualify and the company could still maintain an all-male staff on the board if they desired.
After blueplum gets appointed, I nominate Ann Coulter, Michele Malkin, and Diamond and Silk.
How about if some dip wad man, self identifies as a woman? Would that meet the requirements? 😁
Governor Brown and his misguided state government are going to prove once and for all, that misery and destruction are the only constant in a Leftist State.
