You know it’s odd, but I have the same feeling that I had back in 2016 when Hitlery gave her “deplorables” speech.

“She just lost the election,” I thought to myself at the time.

Well, the ensuing weeks were tense indeed. But I still see that speech as the turning point of the campaign. Hitlery violated political common sense — you can attack your opponent, but how can you expect to peel off any of his followers by insulting them?

Yes, the “deplorables” speech was all about firing up the RAT base. But there were plenty of other ways to do that without insulting millions of regular folks who might otherwise have been persuadable.

The RATs and the GOP are locked in a war of attrition — how appropriate for the last year of the World War I centennial. Attrition is painful for both sides.

Continuing my World War I theme, we’ve already fought the Somme and Passchendaele, taking horrible losses.

The Kavanaugh nomination is the equivalent of the German spring offensive, which drove back the Allies but at a cost the Kaiser’s army couldn’t afford.

Let us hope that with a enraged GOP base, the November election will be like the “Black Day of the German Army” at Amiens in August, 1918.

Afterwards, static attrition will give way to a war of movement. We’ll breach the Hindenburg Line and fight on to the Armistice.

Prediction: Coastal RINOs will do worse because they aren't really Republicans anyway, and FemNazis have neutered a lot of their men. Inland Republicans will do better because "guilty until proven innocent" and the scary tactics the dems are using don't play well in the heartland.

Best outcome: A small Republican majority in the US Senate, but with less of them being RINOs

That’s right AP, you keep those stupid pubs in their place!

Sadly, it quite often seems to work.

An ex-GOP operative in NH who opposes Trump. That's how far they had to dig.

Jennifer Horn is obviously not qualified for her job, or is a Democrat plant in the NH party.

They should be in fear. After their bending over to the dems this week, they should be voted out. Shameful they have no balls.

Two days ago Republicans were so unified with righteous fury that Lindsay Graham, red-faced with sputtering rage gave the political speech of his career and even George W. Bush was whipping up support for Judge Kavanaugh. Red state Democratic senators today are nervously reconsidering their opposition to Kavanaugh.

Republicans Fear Political Fallout From Kavanaugh Turmoil

Just shut up. Nobody believes you.

The GOP are spineless lizards.
I won’t vote because of them.
I will vote to support Trump.

AP propaganda stories churned out....

Long ago the AP “wire service stories” were the most vanilla neutral you could get. Local “stringers” supplied stories and national ones were moderate.

At some point a few years ago I heard Rush say “Don’t trust anything on AP any more. They’re hard left now and slanted that way.” I watched it proven every day after that.

Like MSN news, they toss in anti Trump or anti GOP lines even when nothing to do with the story line. Feb. 2017:”The alleged tapping of the White House and Trump Tower, which have had no evidence for them presented by Trump at all” 2018:”Support for his Border Wall, which is rapidly fading even among his voters.”

AP is useless.

Talk to dyed in the wool democrat relatives and they can’t believe they went this far on Kavanaugh. They’re pissed at Dem leadership.
