In the pictures I've seen, the interior of the elevator is wood-paneled, suggesting that it is in the Capitol. On the Senate side, one of the elevators is for Senators only. If that was the elevator in question, protesters shouldn't have been anywhere near it because access to the area is restricted.

No suprisingly. They already locked me out of 2 other accounts. Remember when Robert DeNiro said “F Trump” at some award show?
