Democrats must be secretly delighted, not that they’ll admit it. A couple of GOP Senators fell on Friday for their ruse of seeking an FBI investigation of an assault accusation against Brett Kavanaugh, and now this Supreme Court nomination ordeal will continue for at least another week. Who knows what new dirt against the judge they can throw on the Senate wall?
On Friday the Senate Judiciary Committee approved the Supreme Court nominee in an 11-10 party-line vote, with Arizona Senator Jeff Flake the last convert. That should have sent the nomination to the Senate floor and a vote early next week.
But then Mr. Flake had a crisis of, well, something and said he wanted another FBI investigation before a floor vote. After Alaska’s Lisa Murkowski said she agreed with Mr. Flake, GOP Senate leaders agreed to a one-week FBI probe into current accusations. President Trump obliged and put the FBI on the case again.

The mystery is what new evidence Mr. Flake and Ms. Murkowski expect the FBI to find. The Senate this week heard six hours of public testimony from Judge Kavanaugh and his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford.
The potential witnesses Ms. Ford has named have given statements under penalty of perjury saying they don’t recall the 1982 party she describes. No corroboration has materialized, leaving Democrats and the media to pick over high-school yearbook entries from 1983. Ms. Ford said Thursday that she is “100%” certain Judge Kavanaugh assaulted her. He told the Senate that he is “100%” certain of his innocence.

The FBI will also interview Ford.
And document she committed perjury.
The Left won, and they know it. A week gives them time to crank up the whole Demonic machine, from the media, to politicians, to lawyers, to nonprofits. To hired thugs, to false accusers, to doxxers, all of it. Given enough time, this machine can destroy anyone, and sway any politician to vote any way the Left desires.

Grassley is the person that said the vote was at 9:30 am until it was DELAYED. How senile does one have to be to chair a committee? Clearly diFi ate his lunch.
I understand what you are saying, but Kavanaugh and Lindsey Graham have called them on their tactics, and I think the American people are catching on.
Ford will not be available for the next 3 weeks.
That will also be the last business day Paul Ryan is Speaker of the House. Along with his hatred of Donald Trump.

I believe Flake is gathering notoriety for his future failed campaign with the famous son of a mailman Kasich.
Imagine the shock and disgust from the media if someone had accosted Feinstein in an elevator the way Flake was. Although, DiFi probably would’ve held her own, unlike Flake.
Not enough people are following this closely to even understand or care what is going on. The DEMs almost always win the low information wars.
It is also the year Senate Democrats, on national TV, focused on and investigated flatulence in a high school yearbook.
Once the Democrats staged their rehearsed temper tantrum and all left the room, there was no vote to be taken.

The FBI must ask:

<><> about the timeline of Ford's letter to Feinstein, and the part Cong Eshoo played in the letter,
<><> why Feinstein made no mention of the letter to the Judiciary Committee during the initial Kavanaugh vetting,
<><> why Ford was not informed she could have given her testimony in California, in her home,
<><> why Ford was not told she could alternately have give her testimony in DC in private,
<><> Ford's whereabouts when she delayed her appearance, claiming she was afraid to fly cross-country,
<><> who set-up the go-fund-me site for Ford, and where is the $500,000 raised (to date) going.
<><> the full extent of Ford's financing by Soros and other left-wing n/p's,
<><> the details of others collaborating with Ford in colluding to subvert the will of Congress.
Yeah... The FBI won’t ask any of those questions. They’ve been tasked to investigate Kavanaugh, not Ford. Quite unfair.
If the FBI says Ford committed perjury she wins. Rosenstein will do the interview.
The only thing the FBI will get from that lying skank will be a tear is she can squeeze one out. I would assume Wray has ordered the special Clinton treatment for her. She’s a Democrat so its OK to lie to the feds. Once the media reports about the interview her go fund me account will probably double.
I agree with you. I hope the rats line up another 20 skanks to come forward. For once I don’t think the MSM whores can spin this. If the left had stopped with Ford they would have been much more effective. Every new outlandish “victim “ reduces the believability of the original charge.
Flake staged it. I heard his committee comments. He didn’t say anything about the case or ask anything. He just had blurbs about how he has to be serious about his ponderings. I knew then he was a no vote, the committee vote being irrelevant.
