I mean, like, there it was: the headline declaring that Bill Cosby, Mr. Jell-O Pudding, America's Dad, will spend the next three to ten years in prison trying to keep from being some bad boy's best girl while wearing the title of Sexually Violent Predator for the rest of his life. Will they make him sew SVP onto the front of his shirt? I received no reply on my social media accounts to the question of whether I missed the throng of hundreds of angry protesters demanding justice for Cosby's victims, even for one of them. Where were the TV talking heads laying out all of their moral reasons why the White House should take back his Presidential Medal of Freedom, or why the folks who hand out the Golden Globes, Emmys, and Grammys should demand he return all of them. None of that happened. That seemed strange

Like Kavanaugh is still 17 years old. Its surreal.
The surreal part to me is that Grassley and the Repubs didn’t nip this in the bud immediately, but I guess the fact that they let the protests go on for so long in the beginning was a good indicator of their slow reaction time.
I’ve suspected that the reason we haven’t seen any photos or TV interviews with Christine Buzzy Ford is that the Democrats — for political messaging purposes — want to act like she’s still a 15 year-old girl.
This Buzzy Ford has so little credibility not only for herself, but based on the various people she's claimed to be "witnesses" on her behalf. If the GOP didn't let this process play out they would have been perpetually painted as the ones who shut down a "victim" and turned her into a lifelong Democrat campaign prop. Now that we see how this is playing out, the GOP will be much stronger at the end of it.

After all, this is the Party of Hate and Violence.
This is the Party of slavery, Jim Crow, lynching, segregation, abortion, voter fraud, voting felons, illegal immigration, the Ku Klux Klan, corruption, the Deep State, an attempted coup d'état in the 21st century, politicization of the FBI, CIA, and as many of America's pristine, revered institutions as possible. The list goes on and on.
This is the Anti-American Party.
This is the Party whose Senate Majority Leader IN THE 21ST CENTURY, was the Grand Dragon (or whatever) of the Ku Klux Klan! And used the n-word twice, that I know of, on the US Senate floor IN THE 21ST CENTURY!
Brining in a respected female prosecutor to ask the questions is a smart move. She will grill both Ford and Kavanaugh so it cannot be said the white males were mean to Ford and gave Kavanaugh puff ball questions. I don’t think the Democrats ever expected things to go this far. They thought Kavanaugh would cave and there would be no need for Ford to testify. The whole ploy was to delay the nomination with endless FBI investigations or Kavanaugh’s withdrawal until after the election. The American public will be focused on the hearing and will see how this Ford mess was all concocted by the Democrats to smear a distinguished jurist and his family. This could well backfire on the Democrats in November.
Your irony is a spotlight on the cusp on which we are precariously balanced: a future prosperous and peaceful or a slide into anarchy and ruin. If the Dems, the Left and S0r0s / Steyer get their way, it will be the latter.
