The weather is a problem but not the only one.
I am at the same latitude as New York. My father-in-law used to grow some good tomatoes. Just the right amount of heat here.
So I guess it’s not fixable.

Then there’s the completely screwed up and unreliable public transportation, NY proudly being called by this punk a sanctuary state for illegals—more useless mouths to feed FOREVER, the definite spectre of dope being legalized as a pander to the young, to get votes-—the list is endless. To say the decline of NY is due to climate change would cause me to wonder if Cuomo isn’t doing a little sampling of dope first before he legalizes it. He has turned NY into a libtard wet dream, with horrible policies right out of the libtard playbook, sure to send any presently functioning entity right down the skids. And, dummy, people are not rooted to the ground to stay here. If the financial environment starts to take a sharp turn south, as in higher taxes and fewer things for them, people will MOVE. A lot have done so already, and a lot more will in the near future. Then you’ll have a state of gibsmedats and very little tax base to feed that monster, you complete fool and criminal.
After consulting with Joe Btfsplk, I learned the problem is Andrew Cuomo and the tax hungry monsters in Albany, NY.

The way I read it they are not moving because of climate change——they are moving elsewhere,to change climates.
