Christine Blasey Ford is set to give the whole game away and then some.
This Thursday, the woman who accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault is set to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Ford alleges that Kavanaugh forcibly groped her at a party while both were in high school. So far, no eyewitnesses corroborate her account.
Everything up until this point has shown that Ford isn’t exactly a scrupulous truth-teller just out trying to do the right thing. Has any member of the press actually spoken with her? Does she even exist? All I’ve seen of her is a picture of a woman with sunglasses. Is she a deaf mute?
Maybe I’ve missed something but I wouldn’t recognize her if she was sitting next to me on a bus.
Its relatively easy to make claims and smear a public figure in the press and letters written to politicians but it is an entirely different matter to go under oath and make the same statements. Its one thing to “resist and obstruct” but committing perjury is a serious crime. Wonder what odds the bookies are giving that she actually shows up and testifies under oath. Suspect that the odds are good that she does not take the oath to testify.
If she’s a no show Thursday call an immediate vote.
Basta.

I believe Flake has already said, without her testimony, he’s supporting BK, though that was before the latest smear.
