The Democrats have viciously overplayed their hand
American Thinker ^ | September 25, 2018 | Patricia McCarthy

Posted on 09/25/2018 10:49:33 AM PDT by detective

This tragedy that became a farce is now a crime, the crime of purposeful defamation of an innocent man. Leftists are so determined to prevent Kavanaugh from becoming a justice on the Supreme Court that they have exposed themselves as the lowlife cheaters they are, without shame or any sense of decency.

When they do not win, they will do anything to undo their loss. This is what has motivated the left since the 2016 election. From the moment Trump won, leftists set about their plans to remove him from office by any means necessary. The cabal that put this plan into motion cares nothing for the law, the Constitution, or the people its members set out to ruin as they have Brett Kavanaugh.

There are no words to adequately describe how venal these conspirators among the congressional left are, how low they are prepared to go. To this day, not one Democrat has spoken out against this monstrous plan to destroy a fine man who has led an impeccable life. Not one. Each and every one of them knows that this is an odious campaign based on lies, but not one of them will admit to this fact. The Democratic Party is officially deplorable in every sense of the word.

Blasey Ford's allegations are laughable, not at all credible. The woman has no memory of when, where, how her alleged assault took place. She was and remains known for her excessive drinking. She has no idea who groped her any more than the second woman Ronan Farrow and Jane Mayer (who regularly celebrates the wrong people) have written about in the New Yorker knows who exposed himself to her, if anyone.

"Kavanaugh is a fine and decent man. Those searching for troubled women to accuse him of some unverifiable crime are loathsome. What these Democrats and their operatives in the media are doing to him is unconscionable. They know very well that these allegations are lies. They helped invent them. The Republicans must not let them win. Confirm the man now."

The main reason the Left has grown so bold and reckless with their smears, protests, riots, etc. is that no one every calls them on it or charges them criminally. They should be charged with inciting riots, suborning perjury, conspiracy to give false statements to Congress, etc. Sleepy Jeff strikes again.

I am certain Real America sees this for the desperation it is.

Maybe one liar can cast some sort of doubt and delay things a bit. A second one who ADMITS she was so stoned she isn’t even sure WHAT happened, much less if K as even in the same zip code, pretty much creates a “cry wolf” situation.

You have to thank the latest skank in the skank parade for exposing this entire #metooILies as the soros-funded fakery it is.

They have not overplayed their hand if there is no price to pay for having done so.

Sadly they may succeed in sinking Kavanaugh here.

But this is going to come back to bite them in ways they could not heretofore imagine.

If Kav is not nominated, and I beleive his nomination will fail, then they have played their hand perfectly. These writers are just more useful idiots trying to explain how the power hungry, results are all that matters, situational ethics progs are: mistaken, stupid, misinformed, ill advised, etc.. Well, for the most part they are effective at ceasing and keeping power. Underestimate or mis-explain them at your own peril.

I’d say the election of Donald J. Trump to the White House was the first price they’ve paid.

I pray Kavanaugh is not sunk, but if his confirmation does fail, there is a way to get a win out of it.

Immediately, and I mean within a day, nominate the female conservative justice, Amy Barrett. Brag about her accomplishments, get dems to attack her, and they will.

You’ll see a turnout on election day from good, spitting mad American Patriots that will surpass Chick-fil-A day. Patriots know when there is injustice, and look to respond. I think Rush and all the defeatist are dead wrong that a defeat of Kavanaugh will discourage GOP voters.

Agreed.

and it has felt like Christmas morning every day since.

I say let's do that again.

Is that what Rush thinks? If so, he's dead wrong. It is precisely threats and attacks like these that motivate voters to fight back at the polls.

Whether a Kavanaugh defeat depresses the November vote is debatable. What is indisputable is that a Kavanaugh victory, especially in a Sunday, September 30 vote will give a big tailwind to a red surge.

If Kavanaugh is rejected the Democrats will have won this round and quite possibly will have won it all when the voters give up on Republicans and don’t bother to vote in November. If that happens it might come to a pass such that Trump is required by national survival to become Caesar.

It is not a crime, but it IS a tort. Even if his nomination is confirmed - and he will have no choice if it isn’t - Kavanaugh should sue “the MSM” - that is, “the Associated Press and its members, joint and several liability” for defamation and libel. He should argue that

No treatment of the cynical monster known as the Associated Press would be complete, of course, without noting that it is in violation of the Sherman AntiTrust Act of 1890. And that its mission of the conservation of expensive telegraphy bandwidth in the dissemination of the news is obsolete and therefore the AP is therefore no longer “too big to fail."
