I think Rush and all the defeatist are dead wrong that a defeat of Kavanaugh will discourage GOP voters.

Is that what Rush thinks? If so, he's dead wrong. It is precisely threats and attacks like these that motivate voters to fight back at the polls.

Whether a Kavanaugh defeat depresses the November vote is debatable. What is indisputable is that a Kavanaugh victory, especially in a Sunday, September 30 vote will give a big tailwind to a red surge.
