New Yorker writers Ronan Farrow and Jane Mayer pushed back Monday against the New York Times coverage of the latest sexual-misconduct allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. ** The paper said it interviewed several dozen people in a vain attempt to find someone with firsthand knowledge to corroborate Ramirezs allegations.
The Times also said Ramirez contacted former classmates to see if they remembered the alleged incident and told some she wasnt sure it was Kavanaugh who exposed himself.
But in a Twitter post Monday, Farrow said it was not accurate for a Washington Post columnist to have tweeted that the Times declined to publish Ramirezs claims, a story Farrow and Mayer broke online Sunday night.

Their reporter pursued Ramirez aggressively. She declined to participate because she was talking exclusively to the New Yorker, Farrow wrote.
Mayer re-tweeted Farrows remarks, and added that the NYT is best paper around, but if Ramirez had talked to them on the record, and theyd found a classmate who heard the identical story at the time, and they knew Congress was investigating, and she wanted FBI to come in, the chance they wouldnt publish is 0.
In a statement to Washington Post columnist Erik Wemple, Times Executive Editor Dean Baquet said: I gather some people thought we were trying to knock down her account, but thats not what we were doing.
Im not questioning their story. Weve been competing against Ronan Farrow for a year and hes terrific, Baquet added.

Weinstein and NBC were gunning for him.
Was obvious his story was garbage but he went with it anyway.
He did it his way...
Sounds like a cat fight between girly men.
His true father would be ashamed of him and angry.
Just going ahead with a fake news slanderous smear job is not acceptable. It is dishonest and terribly harmful to a good man under attack by a mob without morals or ethics.
Ronan got his start as an Obama foreign policy intern.
We have a woman who admits to being very drunk and doesn’t really trust her memory and NO ONE else remembers it happening. Sure, keeping abortion legal is so important that what’s a little character assassination? Run it. /s
His real dad would kick Ronans sissy ass.
Frank Sinatra’s son.
Frank Sinatra is spinning in his grave.
Oh for cripes sake! I am so sick of all this kiss and tell BS!
And this interview happened before the second accusation.

On Ronan Farrow, he’s the son of Woody Allen, or “possibly” Frank Sinatra, according to Mia in one interview (Vanity Fair).

Ronan Farrow? ... oh, yeah, Woody Allen’s son ...
Abortion advocate and Sinatra spawn Ronan Farrow burnt all journalistic credibility in a transparent effort to bring down a man who could vote to overturn Roe vs. Wade.

Frank Sinatra son...actually ....

We tend to forget, amid all the hoopla, that this is all about some high school kid somewhere copping a feel.
As an inveterate bad boy, I can say with absolute confidence that one look at Kavanaugh reveals instantly that it was not he; he was one of the ‘good boys.’
This is all about the Lefties’ need to keep abortion legal.
Look - I feel bad that Ronan Farrow contracted AIDS and syphilis last year [credible anonymous online sources say!] and now his mind is gone to the point where he's collaborating with the lying Democrat whore Jane Mayer.
But that's his problem.
Perhaps he should have stayed away from anonymous sex in park bathrooms.
Wonder if he got the "Man's Country" treatment from GayBama and Reggie "Shove" Love, "wide receiver"...
Voter ID. Thats bigger than abortion.
Getting those 22 million illegals voting will tip the scale foreve e
