Why do we have a separate category for white voters? Why do we never refer to 'non-college educated black voters', 'non-college educated Hispanics voters', and 'non-college educated Asian voters'?
It's almost as if they want to imply white voters aren't well educated.
Consider the fact blacks and Hispanics have lower high school graduation rates than whites but we never hear about 'non-high school graduate blacks', and 'non-high school graduate Hispanics'.
if you said “non educated black & hispanic voters overwhelmingly voted for obama in 2008 and 2012” you would be tarred and feathered as a racist..
“Educated” has come to mean indoctrinated.
Time to eliminate tuition assistance for non-stem majors.
College educated white guy who voted for Trump here.
It’s wisdom that’s most needed.
‘Education’ is no guarantee of that and, in fact, often works to its detriment.
That study is bullshiite.
I’m college educated and I voted for Trump........................
“Education” in this sense is another word for “Indoctrination”.
Basically the less exposed you are to the indoctrination and brainwashing, the more likely you are to vote against the establishment (who funds the Indoctrination Centers otherwise known as schools and universities).
There is a category for non-college educated black voters.
It is a defined by black voters that do not have a college education.
What they mean is college brain-washed voters.
The error by the pollsters was that they were lying through their teeth and got caught at it.
I too get tired of this subdividing. I think they do it so they can attack groups and find a definition of Trump supporters they are comfortable demeaning. As a person with a postgraduate degree I am pretty sick of hearing that Trump supporters are uneducated uncouth neanderthals. Trump supporters are people who love their country, want to be able to work to get ahead, succeed on merit and respect service to Country and to her citizens (LE, firefighters, etc)
Trump supporters think for themselves and make their choices to advance the things they believe are important. Smaller Government, A Country with Laws & Borders, the Freedom to choose life and not be forced to pay for death & dismemberment of babies. Fair Trade Deals a growing economy & manufacturing base.
What does the other side offer slogans, corruption of our heritage, a failed socialism & globalism, situational morality & justice. Those people cannot win or America is lost. We have only our votes and voices. Make good use of both.
What they mean is successfully college brain-washed voters vote mostly for useful idiots.
It’s just one more metric they can use to say “Deplorable” or “clinging to God and guns” .
Trump voter with master’s degree here.
Because, y'know, we're all stupid. What a miserable lying a-hole. The polling data was cooked!!! Still is!!! If you're skewing polling data based on the mirror image of yourself, it's likely you don't belong in the polling biz. Oh, and here's the wheelhouse line that sold all the "well educated" on Hitlery:
Thanks Iron Munro:
College educated white guy who voted for Trump here.
Also College educated, but I got a degree in something that I could actually get a job in, accounting as oppose to something like “White Privilege in Modern Society” or some other BS major.
They are inferring that smarter people vote Democrat. But another way to look at it is that non-university educated people have not been brainwashed by leftist professors of sociology and psychology.
Actually I am a college educated single white gal who voted for Trump - and I am still proud of it.
Way to go, Hill and The American Association for Public Opinion Research-more insults to Caucasian working class Americans-it will be a gift to conservatives like Hillary’s deplorable comment was in 2016. Like a lot of my neighbors out here, I’m a Caucasian of Hispanic ancestry, college educated and conservative, and I’m offended-I suppose next thery will say polls show all of us in rural places are ignorant rednecks who vote republican, too...
