Actor, conservative, Trump-supporter, and acid-tongued, whipsmart Twitterer James Woods was "passcoded" from his Twitter account on Friday evening. By "passcoded", I mean he was locked out of his account. His account is still open and his Tweets remain but he is not longer allowed to access it.

The offending tweet was posted above. The very bizarre reply from Twitter is posted here:

Woods is a very important voice in our fight. He needs to be defended.

This cannot be allowed to stand.

Wouldn’t removing his post affect an election?

Evidently. So they are breaking their own rules.

The only way that post would be misleading is if the reader were a humorless idiot, or Democrat. It’s a meme for gosh sakes.

Wow! Do they have 12 year olds making the decisions at Twitter or are they admitting that democrat men are so stupid they could be influenced by that Tweet?

Its called shadow banning.

But its legal because the First Amendment only prohibits government censorship.

Webmasters and individuals are free to decide what speech they will allow on their Internet sites/pages.

The liberals at Twitter are free to do what they want.

By "affecting an election" what Twitter really means is: "Affecting the ability of the Democrats to take back congress."

I agree.

It’s still undeniable that they are trying to affect an election, by refusing to allow him to.

In knocking door-to-door, we have seen a pattern. Women who are divorced, angry at the world, or promicuous are more liberal than the men they sleep with. These women pull their men to the left, if the men vote at all. The men vote told. They just want to get some without any hassle.

Women in stable marriages are well to the right of their husdands. They pull their centrist husbands to the right. These women see subsidiarity as the safety net.

"But its legal because the First Amendment only prohibits government censorship."

I used to agree with this line of reasoning. Until I found out recently that these same social media companies lobbied the government to be regulated as public use platforms, in other words the town square. They did this to shield themselves from publishing laws which means that they are not liable for what people say on their platform and so therefore cannot be sued.

That's all fine and good except that now they are not acting as a public use platforms. I think the federal government should pull their legal protections against libel as they are no longer acting like a public use platform. If they want to impose their viewpoint on us, then they can be liable for those that are on their platforms.

I’ve been following him for a year. I love his sarcastic sense of humor. That tweet he was banned for was mild. There are worse offenders that get away.

I can see where that would apply. Especially men who only rarely get dating opportunities.

I wish I could somehow upvote your comment. You were right about everything but married women being right of their husbands.

It’s still undeniable that they are trying to affect an election, by refusing to allow him to.

At least once a day I get a message from Beto or DiFi asking to help them out. Clearly, a political advertisement attempting to "affect" the election.

I always take the opportunity to tweet Beto that he sucks and DiFi should go to jail.

Right now what the social media giants are doing is cracking down on "fake memes." It really is bizarre. Woods tweet of three smiling soy boys with their open mouth beta smiles known as cuck face imploring other Nu-Males and Soy Boys to sit out the election (and presumably, because they're all liberals, cost the Democrats votes).

It was clearly a joke but Twitter seems to be taking the position that if it costs one Democrat vote, it's gotta go.
